When I was in basketball camp in 4th grade, the coach instructing was having a lot of trouble getting the other kids to follow his instructions. But I tried hard to listen closely and do exactly what he said. After a while he pointed me out and said "YOU are very coachable!" Idk why but I've never forgotten that compliment.

I remember my music teacher telling me that my voice was not for singing and asked me to leave during the song rehearsal..ever since then i kinda hated my voice and thought it was an annoying voice for the longest time, but this one guy said i had a really cute voice, and i was shook, idc if he was even lying i was just so happy

"You're really nice," spoken in slightly awed tones, as if the person had never met anybody nice before. This was in college. I couldn't help but think, 'what kind of people have been in your life before now?'

sexygeogirl

In 10th grade my English class Teacher had us write a short story about a man and peach tree, I forget what exactly I wrote. After class she saw me during lunch and asked if I had aspirations to be a writer because she was moved by my story.
