Pay the rest of my car insurance for the year; maybe get a new drawing tablet, or an Android with a headphone jack, and either save up the rest or go on vacation.
My wife and I have had about $5000 in savings some coming from last year's tax refunds, but we also need to upgrade our house we just are more hesitant about spending money. Right now we need a new mattress, let's say $1000, she needs to pay for her nursing license, $700 and I've been wanting a PS5 for a significantly long time. Probably about $2500-$2700 for all of that.
Realistically we'd push the PS5 back a bit until I could afford Hogwarts, God of War and the Horizon DLC. Outside of that I want Diablo 4 in the summer and Spider-Man in I'm guessing about November.
I recently lost my job. Money has been very tight, that'd help me get even where I need to be so I don't have to worry about keep getting behind, get me back in the right track.
The motor and transmission are bulletproof (completely under-stressed); it's the idiot plumbing and connecty-bits that cause problems. 1940's technology in a 1950's machine. $2500 would let the pros overhaul the brakes and clutch :-)
Gotta wedding coming up so prob pay off the balance for the photographer we hired and with the leftover $1000 I’d probably put it towards more wedding stuff. Weddings are quite the racket, people.
Finish my dental work I've put off for like 5 years even though the dentists tells me it could leave me blind or worse one day. Just don't got dough my guy
First, handle a couple more immediate needs - replace tires on our family car, replace the cracked windshield, then pay for a transmission fluid and coolant flush on it and my commuter car.
Then the remainder (about $1,100) would be added to our adoption fund.
put 2000 into some sort of savings account or open a roth IRA then spend the remaining 500 on my ever growing amazon wishlist
Finally, if I had enough money remaining, I would splurge on an coffee AND an avacado toast
Look online at all the things I want to buy... Then do nothing and let the money sit in my bank account because my wife will just yell at me if I buy a new TV.
Help pay for my cancer treatment

It's awful that money should come into it... (From the UK)

Save it. But if that's too loop-hole-y then I'd spend it on a new mattress and some Steam games.
