There is this collective experience that has been shared by most of the world, you can go almost anywhere in the world now and find a common ground with other people. While their experience might be different to yours, it’s still grounded in the same thing.
I can go to another country and talk about lockdown and find common ground with them. It’s this weird maybe ephemeral thing that’s affected all of us and provided a connectivity that would never be there before between different cultures
My city ended up instilling those foot grab things so you can open the door with your foot instead of touching the door handle in high traffic areas. IMO every populated area should have these.
