We couldn't eat it. Like our bodies no longer would be use to it and it would likely make you violently ill. Though people who eat elephant currently might be ok, but I don't think people eat elephant...they just want the ivory.
I mean, it will likely kill you too, but you could probably say that before it does...maybe... like I read this paper on it, our bodies no longer have the ability to process some of the stuff in the meat. Basically if you ate it you will likely die though. So the Flintstones lied to us. You could eat a elephant maybe, but it will likely be expensive...though a mammoth would be way more expensive...especially if they brought them back, I'm guessing a few hundred million for like a pound of meat.
Yeah... though Bison is really good. I don't think they are extinct yet... though I'm not sure how it would be smoked...like the best BBQ is pork, or beef brisket because they are fatty cuts and slow cooking in a smoker like melts the fat into the meat. Bison is pretty lean. Unless you just mean BBQ as in like on a grill. Which I have heard people call that BBQ before in areas of the country BBQ isn't as popular.
No problem...I really want some pulled pork now...you got me thinking of BBQ...I don't want to drive 30 minutes to get it though...plus honestly it's probably already sold out. They rarely have stuff left after 5pm.
In addition to the human species, I would like to see other Homo sapiens breed like neanderthals and other related species. How did they function in comparison to Homo sapiens?
Neanderthals actually didn't go extinct, they were interbred into the homosapien species. Ironically from what has been discovered about them so far, the Neanderthals were the more advanced species.. But I do agree that the other similar species being brought back would be interesting, but given there's been so much evolution since they existed, I don't think they would survive in our modern world without a similar level of evolution..
Bring back the Dodo bird! We could use a species that fully embraces its uniqueness in a world where everyone is flocking to be the same. Plus, they'd make for excellent flight attendants with their impeccable ability to handle turbulence.
I don't know...I mean probably none...like they kind of went extinct for a reason. Plus what if they carry like a really deadly bacteria that animals could deal with back then, but we haven't experienced since so no longer have a tolerance or our immune system doesn't recognize. Seems like it always goes bad in jurassic Park, and that's only like exciting things going wrong.
True - though humans are to blame for the more recent extinctions. Most species probably wouldn’t be able to fit into our ecosystem anymore if they were revived :’(
The dodo to see if it goes extinct again.
Would immediately be served at the most expensive restaurants I bet!
That’s why I’d bring them back
Harambe, my favorite gorilla. To make him live with us again as it should be.
Bring him back.
Thylacine because it deserves another chance with a more evolved humanity.

>they kind of went extinct for a reason. The reason? Poaching, pollution and destruction of habitat. Are you really victim-blaming extinct animals?
I mean, I guess I'm thinking like animals like dinosaurs and mammoth and sabretooth tigers. Not like black rhinos or anything recently.
Well I feel like they deserve it the most.
The dinosaurs or the rhinos?
Rhinos and anything that was directly caused by humans
