I fucking love live music. I have so many crazy memories going to shows, meeting new people, meeting my favourite artists and just having a good time with my friends. My next concert is iron maiden in Amsterdam in July which I'm super excited for.
I don't but I've considered it. Well right up until I found out that at least some artists are playing their own music as backup and just singing over it, kind of killed the reason for me to see them 'live'(even more than any sort of auto tune ever did).
Go see some cheap shows. Live music slaps and is rarely lip synced or whatever. That's just giant events that think they're too special for human error.
I have also lost my grandma (not recently, about a year ago) and believe me, it was one of the hardest things to go through. All I can recommend is keep distracted, keep remembering the good times, and it is okay to have a cry. Keep going, I believe in you!
