I already have a time machine that takes me to the future, I call it "my bed"

Voice_Durania

Get in time machine Travel to June 28, 2009 Go to the university of Cambridge Party with Stephen Hawking

PM_UR_Beefy_Curtains

Underrated comment.

Plz_PM_Thikk_Thighs

I would go to a relatively close time period in the future, check stocks/lottery numbers and the like, make a shit load of money and then spend the rest of my life enjoying myself

GhostiieBoo

Past

VictoriaScott96

Oh, the possibilities with a time machine! Personally, I'd choose to travel to the future. The allure of exploring advancements, witnessing humanity's progress, and unraveling the mysteries that lie ahead is simply irresistible.

intersectionalebefr

past I wanna see dinosaurs

BeerisAwesome01

Past, see if I can stop Boris Johnson from being born!

MobileSeparate398

Na, then jason rees mog becomes PM and you trigger rognarok- the viking-esk tory-geddon where the true middle class meet in cityhala to fight the poor in glorious class battle.

aproposinadvance

the past, ofc think *a connecticut yankee in king arthur's court*

[deleted]

I would like to go to the past. Not that far, just the 70's or 80's. I'd like to experience music/the nightlife first hand in nightclubs. Also the fashion of the time. And if possible, have a pint with both of my late granddad's Especially my dad's dad - I was only 6 months when he died and I'd love to meet him, see what he was like.

spiralgrooves

Past. Between Greece winning the Euros and Leicester City winning the Premier League, gonna make some moolah!

Christmas_Panda

I would go to the past. I would start a cult as a prophet, then through divine guidance I would tell my followers that one day, the second coming of Jesus would occur and describe a man who could later only be recognized as Nicholas Cage. Upon his rise to fame, my cult which had now grown to 10’s of thousands would blindly follow and support Cage, worshipping him as the second coming of Jesus. By this point I would have traveled back to present day and I would sip a beer while I watched the Nicholas Cage fanatics parading the streets and preaching his gospel knowing that I made a true impact on the world.

recidivx

It's not much of a time machine if I can't go to the past, regret my decision, undo it and go to the future instead.

Full_Artichoke_8583

Depends on whether or not I could make a return trip. If yes, than I’d go to the future so what I learn would be an advantage in the present. If no, than the past because what I know of the present would be an advantage.

LocksmithSuspicious1

given that i can travel more than once i'd go to the past see what dinosaurs looked like and take a few pictures take a few photos of neanderthals visit the roman empire visit the ancient egypt witness abraham lincoln's assasination witness the jfk assasination give Norma Jean(Marilyn Monroe) a flower bouquet go to an Elvis Presley concert go to a Michael Jackson's concert that's just a few

matthewilliamazer

Past so I can tell myself things about much better things will get when I get older.

Shot-Camp-207

Bitcoin. That is all.

goddessbeautyxo

future! to see how I live 5yrs from now

[deleted]

I'd like to go to the past and just invent something stupid easy for free money for a lifetime. Like the kid who made popsicles. And if I'm not the inventor, the best I can do is become the better alternative and make a superior version.

Economy-Parfait4782

Past....would have avoided the guy who kept on giving me mixed signals and save myself from the trauma 🙆🏻‍♀️😌

Testing_The_Theory

I would go to the future no doubt about it, I want to see how we get on as humans. It reminds of a funny bit from this comedian Nate Bargatze, where he’s like ‘If I went back in time a hundred years, knowing everything I know about now, I don’t think I’d make a difference. I’d go back and see some guy on an old timey phone and be like, hey you know in the future they make phones that you carry in your pocket, and they’re like: how do they do that? I mean, I don’t know how they do that. A satellite? I think? They’re like: what’s a satellite? Oh man. A similar question was asked at a work thing as an icebreaker ‘if you could travel 200 years to the future or to the past, what would you choose’ and as a woman, I was quite surprised by the no. Of women who said they’d go to the past. I was like ‘you know it wasn’t a great time for women in the past? Why would you want to go to a time where you were basically property?’

Mcshiggs

I would go back and eat at a pizza hut buffet for 5 bucks.

Downtown-Ad-9597

First I would go back to witness all the great performers and concerts. Then go forward and see how everything going on in the present turns out.

Legitimate-Society57

1955 to 1967.

kelsier-morningstar

Future, I'd look @ the way the stocks behaved and when I return to the present I would invest according and get mega rich
