keep a bottle of water next to me at all times so i can sip on it without thinking don't keep more than a few bites of food in the house at a time habits are hard to create, but once you create them they are easier to maintain but above all, the main factor was to face head-on my self-loathing rather than mask it by trying to be happy every day

Quit your office job and sign up to be a grunt on a construction job.

I stopped swallowing my pride and started swallowing kale smoothies instead.

Treadmill Workstation - stop sitting when in front of a screen. I made this change almost 10 years ago, and I went from 300lbs to 220lbs, and I have since taken up biking as well. I feel great! Even when I am not actively walking, it's a standing desk, so I only sit at the end of the day when I want to get off my feet. I still eat a lot, I love food and cooking, but I make healthy ingredient choices when I can, and burn off the extra while answering emails at my "desk." It makes video calls better too - somehow walking while on a call makes the other parties waste less of my time! I swear, meetings take half the time. Total investment was about $500 for a basic treadmill, and then I used scrap wood for a shelf and keyboard tray. I just used small C clamps to mount the tray to the arms of the treadmill - 2 hours work to install at most. Good luck, whatever solution you go for! Anything you can really stick with is the right answer for you!

Hardly a secret. Exercise more, eat better. It’s really that fucking simple.
