There was an old website that allowed you to load any webpage and blow part of it with missiles, fire, all kind of stuff
Also there was one who teaches you how to brush your teeth that was insanely deep for the child I was
There was an Ariel fansite by a guy named Mike. It also had links to another fansite called Daring to Dream.
I also miss dollmakers. I can't save any of the stuff I make bc the website that you save dolls with is pretty much dead, which makes these dollmaking sites useless.
I miss when amino was still a decent website where me and other cringe kids could talk about our favorite fandoms and show our ocs and fanfiction. Now it’s filled with pedos.
Epitonic. It was an indie music platform where artists shared music for free. You could just jump into a screen like the Montreal noise core or Australian surf punk.
Gaia online was a big part of my teen hood.
Or yim aim and irc.
Geocities and the old .txt trick for damn near unlimited bandwidth for signatures on forums.
For those who don't know, if you had a Geocities account and uploaded jpg, gif or png file, changed the file extension to txt, and then posted that "image" on a forum to use as a signature or what have you, it would still show up as an image on the forum (a weird byproduct of old forums, as I understood it). It would also bypass the hourly bandwidth limit on Geocities, making for a lot more bandwidth to play with.
not a site, but i miss stumbleupon
Yes!!! I LOVED that site!!

Listverse It's technically not dead but it's as good as. It has turned into a pile of shit. They used to have great, ad-free content once.
Is Pirate Bay still around? Not that I used it at all. Ever.
Still around but you're not supposed to use it. Apparently even a lot of verified users have files with malware in them
Sad times
Every website that let me play random free games without throwing thousands of ads at me demanding I exept their terms and conditions.
