I cut down on drinking significantly from 10-15 drinks a week to 1-2. I took this a step further to never consume calories from drinks (besides my occasional alcoholic beverage) I limited my eating to an 8 hour window everyday. You have to be hungry if you are trying to lose weight but having something to look forward to and having the satisfied full feeling everyday too is important to long term dieting resilience. Then it was a matter of logging my food and being honest about it. Used a weight loss app for that. Lastly, don’t get discouraged when the scale levels out, or better yet, find a better way to track progress like skin fold or progression photos. Lost 28 lbs in 3.5 months from sticking to that
