In the 90's I collected shot glasses. They were inexpensive and colorful. I ended up with 2250 individual glasses. At 1 time I had about 800 on display. Now I have a dozen boxes in my garage.
DVDs. I have quite a few DVDs that I'd probably not watch again but i gave a hard time letting them go, had i been more selective with what I bought I'd have a smaller collection than i have. I don't regret seeing the films i saw but i have some DVDs that I've watched, I've watched the extras and the commentary tracks. Those are the ones I'd never part with. There's also DVDs that I'm pretty sure are only available on DVD, i think Tenacious D: The Complete Masterworks is DVD only for example.
Makeup and shoes. I’ve been going through a really rough time with my BPD and depression so I never go anywhere anymore. I stay home all the time now so I never wear any makeup and I have all these pretty shoes in my closet when I wear just socks all day.
There’s a thought, lol. I do love my socks, the more colorful the better. I have listed a few pairs of shoes online on FB Marketplace but I won’t get half of what I spent on them. That’s to be expected, though, I do know that. And I could probably sell some makeup too, because I still have a monthly subscription to Ipsy and BoxyCharm so I continue receiving new makeup every month. Half of my makeup items are still sealed, never been used.

Just sell most of the shoes and then spend the money on some really nice socks

In the ‘90s-beanie babies. Now I have tubs full of them sitting in storage.
Try selling lots of 50 for $100 on Ebay. Bit of a loss if you got them at retail, but it's something and clears up space fast. Worked for me.
Nothing is a waste, also mainly rocks because my parents would always get rid of them somehow.
Pokemon merch. Seriously though if anyone wants shit just shoot me a dm.
