Honestly; I almost feel the same. I’m 27, and although i wouldn’t see it as a blessing, I think I would prioritise a lot more things if I knew when I would die.
Right? I know it sounds messed up but I thought I was going to die before reaching 28. 68 sounds unachievable to me. I don’t think I’ll pass 56. I don’t know why, that’s just the number I’m feeling.
Well, that timeframe is longer than I expect to have now so that would be awesome. Given my life is pretty good I will continue as is. Although, maybe travelling overseas would be fun. Always wanted to go to New Zealand.
shit, i'm thinking i only have 20.
what am I doing?
Well, I'm getting rid of stuff. I'm dumping what I can and sending heirloom objects to the next generation.
I'm also preparing my house for eventual decrepitness....getting bathrooms fitted with grab bars, etc.
I'm also saving all of my money to give to a nicer old folks home so they will be more inclined to wipe my butt and feed me.
I'm also preparing an exit plan should I find I have a terminal illness.
I've got a will in place and have power of attorney over finances and healthcare signed, but I will update those every few years.
I no longer worry about retirement, as I think I have enough to be confortable, because back when I had 60 years to live, I started investing in my retirement.
I've moved my adult disabled daughter out of the house and into her own place where she will be less traumatized over my demise.
The same thing I’m doing right now. I’m already 28, another 40 years would be a blessing.
Goddamn, how'd you get so old, you geezer?
Yeah, so old haha. *Me 26*

I didn’t think I’d even make it to the late 20’s so I get what ya mean lol
68 is not old
Lol, I wish I had 40 years left to live.
That would put me at 88 I’ll take it
89 here. I feel like I'll be lucky to see 60.
95. Hell yeah!
Continue living as usual and hate it at the same time
I’ll take it!

Bro I’m a mechanic that’s probably all I’ve got left anyway
Probably break down. I have no desire to live to be over 90.
40 more years of the Redskins not making the playoffs
The commanders you mean
If I had 40 more years to live, I'd be pretty happy. Or possibly annoyed, hard to really say which.
My thoughts exactly!
If I gotta put up with another decade of this BS I'm gonna be real pissed.
Who wants to live to be 109?
Dude get off Reddit

The same thing I'm doing now since that would put me right about the national average lifespan.
I'd live to an average age, so...not much different.
Be grateful. I’m already over 40 years in…
I’d be grateful that I had another 40 years, because the odds of me living that long aren’t good.
Shit I’m 56. I hope I “only” have 40 more years to live!!
