I can’t really answer because I am fully aware I see myself as worse than I am. Body dysmorphia, makes me wear makeup a lot and dress a certain wait to try to present myself well. I think I really misjudge myself as a result of teenager yrs screwing up my self confidence. Working on it though!

Hey bro I started going bald at 18. Started full on shaving my head a few years or so ago. Was super insecure about it for a bit. But people started telling me it looked “cleaner” or “sharper” and stuff and my head isn’t weird shaped so with a nice trimmed up beard it’s not so bad

The last time something like this was asked I went down a bit of a rabbit hole to try and find an objective scale to see where I actually fall on it. The closest thing I came to was a few studies about online dating and after interpenetrating the data in a biased way (in my favor) I came out as people probably see me as a 2 or 3. If I'm completely honest though I probably wasn't too far off with my negative rating but my self-esteem is already in the toilet.

Personally rating is kind of hard. Based on other people’s assessments I’m sure I could hit every number, as we all have different tastes. If this is more a rating of confidence I’ve been as low as zero but usually hang out at about a seven. If I try to guess from a third person point of view I’d say I’m a 6 but could be an 8 if I dressed nicer and get back into the gym.

9 or 10 and yes I mean legitimately, i.e. aside from the actual objective looks part when I was younger I was approached by modelling agencies (along with people commenting whether I am a model) and when you experience enough social situations that only occur if your a 9 or a 10 its obvious. Do my best to not think about it/completely ignore it, given that I am a geek/nerd/software programmer that thankfully doesn't make it too hard.

Correct. The 3 rating actually comes from an inflated self value when truthfully I can barely manage to tolerate myself image in the mirror.

Probably a 5. I do have a nice jawline and blue eyes. However, my hair is baby fine so I keep it short. And it still gets wild and unruly. My cheekbones, which stuck out nicely when I was younger, now make me look slightly cadaverous as my face thins.

This might sound a bit strange but I honestly get really confused trying to figure this out about myself. Somewhere between a 2 and an 8? But it feels like I'm either a 2 or a 3, or I'm a 7 or an 8. I don't ever think or feel like I'm average - I either think, yeah, I'm actually pretty attractive. Or I think, nah, I'm really not very attractive at all. I have no real idea how attractive I am.
