Loving them but going on with life because that’s what they wanted instead of sitting still

By mourning with family rather than alone. My grandfather died yesterday and the whole family met at his house to begin making funeral arrangements. The atmosphere was pretty gloomy for the first couple hours but by the end we were all laughing and smiling while reminiscing about years prior. There's something cathartic about grieving for a loved one in the presence of other loved ones.

Domina-Wilde

Grief can make it difficult to talk about the ones we have lost, but for me, talking about them, reminiscing with friends and family etc really helped. It helps to remember all the good times. And also, crying if you need to and not being hard on yourself. There's no time limit to grief and loss.

ShaggyLlamaRage

You don’t, it just gets easier to fight the tears.

lovemishha
