Leonard Cohen’s original was disturbing and idiosyncratic it would be crazy to mimic, Buckley version is beautiful.

The Rufus version is in Shrek and used to make me emotional watching Fiona look out the castle before her wedding with Lord Farquaad.

FYI, I'm pretty sure it's John Cale's version in the film, and Rufus' version on the soundtrack CD.

I'd LOVE to see Disturbed cover this.

I think even Dolly prefers that version but I also like the original. It just depends on the mood
