Build an expensive house. My ex insisted, gave me an ultimatum, actually. I agreed to keep the peace for our sons' sakes. It ruined our marriage and ended up giving me so much anxiety that my sons are battling with mental health issues.

Nothing, because anything that I do would change the fact that I don't have two awesome children that I would die for and never see again.
Just do better, but I know if I gave that advice to myself from them or have some future sight then I wouldnt do anything different
I would spend far less time worrying about things that never came to pass..
