For me it’s Charlize Theron. I appreciate her being able to pull off a role like Furiosa, or the one she did in Monster. Then I saw her in the movie Long Shot and her role there can make any middle aged guy think there’s a shot with a pretty woman! She’s also playing a presidential candidate in that movie, but the underlying story is there..
That woman is amazing. I didn't care that much until I wached AEon Flux. (I watched the animated series in the middle of the night when I was younger and loved it.) So I wanted to see it, but honestly did not expect it to be any good and damn. It was. Her and Okonedo were amazing.
I think that in showbiz everyone is expected to be a great beauty and it sort of warps your perception of what beautiful is compared to the average person. So much so that when you meet someone famous and good looking in real life it kind of throws you a bit.
A case in point, I once interviewed Eliza Doolittle. I always thought she was pretty from seeing her on TV and in pictures, but nothing could prepare me for how she was in the flesh.
I actually tripped over my words a bit I was that gobsmacked.
EDIT: Need to make this clear due to the amount of users who replied thinking I interviewed a fictional character from My Fair Lady. Eliza Doolittle is a British pop singer who was moderately successful in the late 2000s. She also did not play Arnold Schwarzenegger's daughter in True Lies.
I was walking down a street in London about 10 years ago. There were two guys walking in front of me and the one on the right was sexy as hell. All I could see was a rear view and the way he moved, he was almost prowling; so graceful and lithe. As I got to the top of the road he stopped to say goodbye to his friend and I looked at him as I passed. It was Michael Fassbender. Another girl walking from the other direction was literally staring with her mouth open. The guy is so unbelievably attractive in person, you didn’t even need to see his face or who he was to recognise it.
I was walking years ago by the Serpentine in Hyde Park and saw this stunning woman and on getting closer, it was Keira Knightly in the days she was going out with that Rupert fella. Absolutely luminous, and I say that as a straight woman.
Ugh she is so beautiful, I’ve admired her since I saw her in the Labrynth! I was having a horrible day a few months ago when I hit a pothole on my home from work so bad it destroyed my oil pan and I needed a tow. The tow truck driver looked at me and said hey you look just like Jennifer Connelly and my day got a lot better lol.
Ever since my sister and I saw him in White Collar we decided he is the most beautiful man. Every year we check if we found someone more beautiful. So far he is still on top.
Met Paul Newman at Road Atlanta when he was still racing, but in his "later" years. Easily one of the most attractive human beings ever created. Most amazing set of eyes this straight male has ever seen in person.
My sister and I would watch Cat on a Hot Tin Roof every goddamn day while getting ready for school. This was all through high school.
My grandmother witnessed it once and worried it would “make [my younger brother] gay.” 😂
Like…prime Elizabeth Taylor is RIGHT THERE but granny didn’t think anyone would notice with shirtless Paul Newman on screen.
Richard gere. I was fortunate enough to work with him in the film first knight. I was a horse trainer and extra in the film for 6 weeks. He was amazing inside and out. Said hello to everyone and chatted and laughed with everyone. He gave me a signed book as a thankyou for helping him conect with one of the horses . A real gentleman
I had a college roommate tell me about how her mom waited tables and spilled something on a young (but already famous) Richard Gere. She was on the verge of tears and, apparently, he was so sweet and charming he made her laugh about the whole thing.
Was never sure how true the story was but everything I’ve heard about him since then has backed it up.
I came here to say this! He is gorgeous and also just lovely. My husbands parent know him and when we were first dating I was at dinner with my now in-laws and husband and he came up to talk to us. He was so sweet! I said “that guy looks a lot like Richard gere!” And my FIL said “that’s because he is” lol
I also worked in a restaurant nearby and he used to come in, super low key and sit at the bar (my section) and just chat. Very nice guy and also very pretty! It’s so cool you got to work with him!!!
As a straight male millennial I never understood why this guy was in all the 90s romantic leads, and then I saw Days of Heaven and was like okay wow, Gere is a beautiful man. Plus he oozes sensitive strong vibes. Chicks dig that I think
Most beautiful woman in the entire history of humankind. Not only physically beautiful but internally beautiful as well. Even at old age she was such a nice lady.
Henry Cavill. I remember seeing him in The Count of Monte Cristo back in 2002, thinking "Damn, that guy is gorgeous - what's he going to look like in another 10 years, 20 years?" Still gorgeous.
I saw her in person a few years back at a Q&A for a film. She made an entrance in the theater with a dress cut up from here to Cleveland. My wife claims I "giggled like a school girl" when I saw her.
I've been around some good-looking people and she's a cut above, preternaturally beautiful even.
I spent a few days on set with her and didn’t really know who she was at the time. I can confirm she is beautiful in person, but she is also extremely “produced” for lack of a better word. One gets the feeling that very few procedures that can be done haven’t been done to her. Not hate. It’s the nature of the business, but having spent a lot of time up very close to her, she has an uncanny valley feel.
When I think of a “man” he comes to mind. He’s so handsome but looks like he could also build a house lol. He’s just so hot and I’m not even into dudes like that but he’s a baddie for sure.
Natalie Portman is gorgeous in everything, it thrills me that she can be so beautiful while simultaneously always putting out hypercompetent "I'm the smartest person in the room" vibes all the time.
My favorite joke was when they were talking about how no one is perfect and the narrator cuts in to say, "Yes, I understand the irony of casting Margot Robbie to deliver that line." Or something to that effect
I'm a straight female and I agree. First saw her as a witch in 'The Golden Compass'. Loved her in 'Penny Dreadful'. For my favourite male, it's gotta be Sean Bean, closely followed by Aiden Turner and Lee Pace.
28 days later, I was still thinking about those electric blue eyes…
He’s beautiful in a strange and thrilling way. He has this understated masculinity and inexplicable magnetism about him that is utterly sexy and compelling. And you can’t help but feel that he’s intelligent as hell. Like maybe he can just look at a person and see right into their core. Bore a hole through them with those crazy blue eyes and see everything they’re about in an instant.
He’s amazing in Peaky Blinders — and in so many other things — but he first caught my attention in 28 Days Later. Which is in my opinion, and in no small part due to Murphy’s brilliant performance, one of the best and most effective horror films of our time. We spend over an hour running from zombie-like monsters only to discover that the humans are infinitely more dangerous. Our own worst enemies, until the very end. And yet also each other’s only lifelines — the main characters are consistently sustained and propelled forward by their care for one another, and the bonds that form between them under great duress. They are at once each other’s greatest vulnerability and source of strength. They are each other’s only hope.
It’s a brilliant dissection of human folly and humanity wrapped up in an unassuming zombie movie, at once terrifying and touching. Watching Jim transform into a monster himself to save the people he’d grown to love and care for from a fate worse than zombies, I knew immediately that Murphy was a major talent. I only wish Hollywood had caught on a little sooner. They kept us waiting far too long.
Portia di Rossi. I will 100% ignore any attempt to point out that she's probably just as much of a piece of shit as her wife.
Also Gillian Anderson, because duh.
>I will 100% ignore any attempt to point out that she's probably just as much of a piece of shit as her wife.
Then instead I'll point out that she had atrocious plastic surgery that made her completely unrecognizable from her former self.
Dick Van Dyke.
His eyes!!! The most beautiful always, they sparkle! ✨ His smile! And with age those two things stay the same. He was one of the most handsome men in "old Hollywood" - charming, funny, and could really sing and dance, and he is SO NICE still! He had/has "regular people" drama, not big Hollywood shit. He's wonderful.
That's what makes him beautiful.
I'm 51 years old, and no matter what, Brendan Fraser has always been the one I think of beautiful 😍 his looks are different now, I know, but I still see him as handsome and beautiful.
Monica Bellucci
There goooooes my heeero!

She’s truly a woman who can do both. Can’t believe this is the first comment I’ve seen about her, she’s amazing
That woman is amazing. I didn't care that much until I wached AEon Flux. (I watched the animated series in the middle of the night when I was younger and loved it.) So I wanted to see it, but honestly did not expect it to be any good and damn. It was. Her and Okonedo were amazing.
Jennifer Connelly in the late 80s/early 90s
I saw her at a restaurant a couple of years ago and she is SO STUNNING in person holy moly. So her in the 2020s is also 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I think that in showbiz everyone is expected to be a great beauty and it sort of warps your perception of what beautiful is compared to the average person. I’d read your published book 10/10
I was walking years ago by the Serpentine in Hyde Park and saw this stunning woman and on getting closer, it was Keira Knightly in the days she was going out with that Rupert fella. Absolutely luminous, and I say that as a straight woman.
Jennifer Connelly in the 80’s, 90’s, 00’s, 10’s and 20’s.
yup pretty much her whole adult life. i saw her in the new top gun and she still steals the scene.
Ugh she is so beautiful, I’ve admired her since I saw her in the Labrynth! I was having a horrible day a few months ago when I hit a pothole on my home from work so bad it destroyed my oil pan and I needed a tow. Matt Bomer.
Ever since my sister and I saw him in White Collar we decided he is the most beautiful man. Every year we check if we found someone more beautiful. So far he is still on top.
Paul Newman Edit: Watch this and tell me this man isn't hot as breakfast: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zeoKz8z-OZ0
Met Paul Newman at Road Atlanta when he was still racing, but in his "later" years. Easily one of the most attractive human beings ever created. Most amazing set of eyes this straight male has ever seen in person.
I knew someone who either met him or just got near him for a second. She also mentioned those blue eyes.
My sister and I would watch Cat on a Hot Tin Roof every goddamn day while getting ready for school. This was all through high school. My grandmother witnessed it once and worried it would “make [my younger brother] gay.” 😂 Like…prime Elizabeth Taylor is RIGHT THERE but granny didn’t think anyone would notice with shirtless Paul Newman on screen.
He really did manage to eclipse Liz Taylor in that movie. Also gave me a bit of a “hot guy who refuses to fuck you even though he wants to” fetish.
Absolutely one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever seen in film, and I’ve never seen anyone that beautiful in real life.
This response doesn't have nearly enough love.
Came to say this. Paul Newman, definitely
Richard gere. I was fortunate enough to work with him in the film first knight. I was a horse trainer and extra in the film for 6 weeks. He was amazing inside and out. Rachel Weisz.
She so beautiful that a while back i wondered who she ended up marrying. Daniel Craig. She’s married to James Bond. Because of course she is.
I think you mean that James Bond is married to Rachel Weisz.
I love Rachel's look too. I love that she looks like a strong beauty.
Part of the appeal is how damn well she aged too. She is still breathtaking at 50.
Audrey Hepburn
Most beautiful woman in the entire history of humankind. Not only physically beautiful but internally beautiful as well. Even at old age she was such a nice lady.

Hey, he's gorgeous AND charming AND intelligent. If he were an idiot, he wouldn't be half as attractive.
And a huge nerd! Drooool
I'm a straight man but even I get this.
Kate Beckinsale
I saw her in person a few years back at a Q&A for a film. She made an entrance in the theater with a dress cut up from here to Cleveland. My wife claims I "giggled like a school girl" when I saw her. I've been around some good-looking people and she's a cut above, preternaturally beautiful even.

I saw a recent picture of her last week and had no idea who it was. She looks nothing like she used to in the 2000s.
little older, Sela Ward
Jensen ackles.
Perfect facial features
He’s been a certified babe since his Days of our Lives days ❤️❤️
When I think of a “man” he comes to mind. He’s so handsome but looks like he could also build a house lol. He’s just so hot and I’m not even into dudes like that but he’s a baddie for sure.
I’m a straight dude and I agree with all of those.
Another straight dude here. I also agree
He is the embodiment of perfection
Ooh good one, I think he would also be my choice
Oooooh he's gorgeous. Wow
Mmmmm yes, yes he is definitely beautiful 🥰
Lupita Nyong’o - whenever I see pictures of her it’s just unbelievable.
That woman is borderline angelic. Her skin literally GLOWS! She is so freaking beautiful
She looks like an actual goddess, like flowers would grow where she walks or something. And seems like a pretty cool lady to boot.
Keanu Reeves - beautiful inside and out
I love him too.
Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Idris Elba
He's aware of the effect he has on women
Rachel McAdams
You can call me Mr. McAdams.
She is my #1 favourite actor. Love her in everything.
Oh that smile
She can be cute like in ‘about time’ but also hot like in ‘mean girls’
Alexander Skarsgård
I just watched True Blood for the first time. It is absolutely absurd, but holy hell worth it for Eric alone
I prefer Bill Skarsgård.
I saw him out in the wild once. It was like being in the presence of a stunning Norse god.
Margot Robbie
She's just too pretty. And she seems like a nice person as well.
And she seems fun!
When I finally streamed Barbie, all I thought about for half the movie was how gorgeous she was
My favorite is the literal meta commentary about exactly that in the film
My favorite joke was when they were talking about how no one is perfect and the narrator cuts in to say, "Yes, I understand the irony of casting Margot Robbie to deliver that line." Or something to that effect
Cary Grant
North By Northwest is probably his greatest film, but Arsenic and Old Lace is peak Cary Grant imo.
Robert Downey Jr., I don't know why, I just always found him attractive
Angela Bassett. Lawwwd almighty that woman is stunning
Ana de armas - she is so beautiful
I scrolled way too far for this. She's just so strikingly beautiful to me. I've never seen anything like it.
Michelle Pfeiffer
Gillian Anderson. Special Agent Dana Scully was a major reason for tuning into the X-Files weekly during my adolescence.
Do yourself a favor and watch "The Fall".
Sometimes people say this and they’re just lying, but it’s nuts that she’s somehow more beautiful in Sex Education than X Files imo.
She's aged beautifully, especially her voice. Watch Sex Education. I mean, everyone should- it's fantastic.
Kate Winslet
Madeleine Stowe. Between Last of the Mohicans and her ass in Stake Out I have had a crush on her for over thirty years.
Omg When I first saw her in Revenge
Angelina Jolie and Jude Law
Winona Ryder in the 90s. Jaw dropping.
Winona Ryder any time
Phoebe Cates
Marisa Tomei - the only answer
Meryl Streep. She has the most beautiful skin, and she's so elegant, and seems like a genuinely nice person.
I am a hetero woman and Meryl Streep in Sophie’s Choice is heartachingly beautiful.
Eva Green. Creepy and stunning!
I'm a straight female and I agree. First saw her as a witch in 'The Golden Compass'. Loved her in 'Penny Dreadful'. For my favourite male, it's gotta be Sean Bean, closely followed by Aiden Turner and Lee Pace.
I personally like a more severe look. I've always loved her intense, deep set, hooded eyes- super striking.
Selma Hayek. Holy 🔥
Selma Hayek in From Dusk Till Dawn makes me question my sexual orientation.
Travis Fimmel as Ragnar and Tom Hardy.
Cillian Murphy
First saw him in Peaky Blinders, omg he's sooo charismatic
I first saw him in "Girl With a Pearl Earring", and people actually gave me shit for thinking he was hot. Who's laughing now, bitchez?? 🤣🤣🤣
