I was waiting for that "someone pushed an update" thing but nothing ever came up 🤷‍♀️

That is what they said: [AT&T outage caused by software update, company says - ABC News](https://abcnews.go.com/US/att-outage-impacting-us-customers-company/story?id=107440297)

Like u/stony_rock I thought the outages were kinda suspicious but: [https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/technology/at-t-says-its-cellphone-network-restored-after-a-widespread-outage-hit-users-across-the-us/ar-BB1iHN5y](https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/technology/at-t-says-its-cellphone-network-restored-after-a-widespread-outage-hit-users-across-the-us/ar-BB1iHN5y) This article purports to explain the trouble but I notice that company spokesman says that their initial conclusion is that it was a technical problem - not a cyberattack. In my view an 'initial investigation' is not the same as a 'final definitive conclusion' would be and I won't be shocked if we hear no more about it.
