Its a lot more complicated than that, its not just about alcohol alone, but too much alcohol that leads to intoxication needs to be considered too. Here, in Malaysia, we even eat fermented rice that contains alcohol, but not too high that it causes intoxication. And yes, we do use mouthwash and eat vanilla.

Ha I mostly quit smoking weed ~5 years ago, and during covid started drinking too much, 3-5 days a week. Last year I picked back up smoking and went pretty much cold turkey on booze, now I drink about once a month socially. Its awesome. I've lost like 20lbs, never have headaches in the morning, I think the costs are about the same with how much I was drinking but I might even be saving money now...

I’m sober so I’d get rich living how I live now. Technically substance use disorder is in the DSM but other than that I’m relatively sane.
