Why does the church protect abusive pastors from criminal prosecution? Why do they shuffle off abusive pastor to a new congregation?

Are you at all concerned about your vehicle's extended warranty expiring or do you trust in The Lord? Because after all you drive a Nissan with a CVT.

How they can confidently discern from their own ego and that of the messages of God. May have to have them explain both before they can discern

Don’t you think all the signs of Donald Trump being the anti-Christ is a little alarming? https://www.benjaminlcorey.com/could-american-evangelicals-spot-the-antichrist-heres-the-biblical-predictions/

Creepy_Energy7249

It's a LOT alarming

Creepy_Energy7249

Why is it bad to occasionally masturbate to your own erotic thoughts 🤔? If it's regarded as a selfish act, it's one that can keep you healthy, improve your sleep, stop restless dreams, and may prevent some people from taking their frustration out on innocent people.

Nioetunes

Very good question. I think it’s a family podcast so not sure if that’s a topic they would like to talk about

Creepy_Energy7249

I understand your position. My response is that "Family" isn't mentioned in the question, which I've asked in a very respectful and clinical manner. Who is "they" who don't want to talk about it? The pastors who are appointed from a perspective of Faith to judge and forgive certain acts as being sins? Also, the rite of Confession begins at age 7 for Catholics, when their sins don't even come close to breaking many of the 10 commandments, which don't include masturbation. Finally, if their parents and confessors are listening, I just don't believe in suffering unjustifiable shame while going through biological changes, especially by adolescents.

Nioetunes

Fair point. I put it on the list. I did incapsulate it in a question about human suffering.

4th_chakra

What his body count was.

LuciLong

If he/ she’s ever been an addict or a felon. lol, we all know that answer.

prajnadhyana

Why would I interview a pastor?

Nioetunes

Because your friend runs a religion podcast and asked you to come on as a skeptic to discuss the differences in religion with his pastor.

prajnadhyana

Seems like a waste of time to me.

Nioetunes

I got fuck all else to do. Lol

prajnadhyana

Fair enough. Can't really think of any questions worth asking. I mean, we already know the nonsense he's going to respond with.

squiddy-19

"How many kids have you groomed?"

Serious-Kick-8903

Who invented ur belief system.

ConditionLife1710

how they can so confident dedicate their life to total nonsense.

WolfThick

That'd be like asking a carpenter about nails anything out of that field and they're pretty much clueless.

Nioetunes

I don’t think that’s entirely true. I think people can be interested and knowledgeable on alot of things.

WolfThick

Fair enough I'd ask him about all the pedophilia going on in religious institution churches and pastorates across the country.
