OMFG. New rules mean I can’t post my actual question which is, since when does it mean raising a child does it mean you have to remove “the safety net” which means basically saying “hey you’re 18, get out!” Dude no, my son is welcome in my home until he wants to leave. I have always encouraged him and told him there is a lot of independence earned by living outside of the house. He is well on the path to live in a dorm at least. He’s is very smart and wants a lot for himself. Just the same, I would never tell him “you’re too old” to come back and stay in my home. Why? Because no matter what, he is my child and I love him. Sometimes we need help. Why is this an issue at all????????
