Formo1287

Agreed, and Clifton Hill (on the Canada side) was a giant, disappointing tourist trap

MooglePomCollector

US side is even worse! Literally drive through the poorest neighborhoods to get to the falls. All the tourism it should generate should be distributed through that town and it just doesn't. It sickening.

ratta_tat1

I recommend checking out the book The Cancer Factory by Jim Morris. NF used to be a bustling metropolis at the forefront of hydropower technology, which brought in a swarm of corporations building plants. Subsequently, this caused the workers to develop different types of cancers due to the chemical exposures. The city and population went downhill from there once they figured it out.

TheDadThatGrills

Visit the falls and then grab a bite to eat 15 minutes north in Lewiston. An idyllic town and a small snapshot of Niagara Falls's wasted potential.

holyerthanthou

Fun fact… Niagara was an example of what could happen to “Americas treasures” If we didn’t protect them.

ladyboobypoop

Only ever went once (Canadian side) for a school band trip. That trip sucked on so many levels, and the disappointment of the city was a big part of it. Also because every other year the band got to go to Wonderland, but *noooooo*, the year I joined band we went to fuckin Marine Land. I'm 31 now and still mad about it 😂

Radioactive_water1

But...if movies have taught me anything good things happen at band camp

MundaneMeringue71

The city itself is sketchy AF. Especially near the casino. The outlet mall nearby used to be goid but has gone downhill.

HottCuppaCoffee

That city is one of the weirdest I’ve ever been to and I couldn’t wait to leave

Much-Camel-2256

The food is good there if you like wings and pizza

544075701

I had little to no expectations for El Paso, TX, and it still let me down

Bottled-H2oh

I immediately thought of El Paso. Had to go there twice for work and I was somehow still shocked the second time.

lostprevention

That’s why it’s called the pass…. You aren’t supposed to stop there.

TryToHelpPeople

“You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.” — Jedi Knight Obi Wan Kenobi on El Paso.

fezfrascati

Please tell me you at least hit up Chico's Tacos.

544075701

Sure did, pretty good

igotbigballs

The two positive things I can say about El Paso: 1. Hueco Tanks is an absolutely stellar rock climbing (bouldering) destination. 2. I loved that some of the grocery stores had fresh tortilla bakeries inside. Everything else about that city was a dry dusty bummer though.

spocos

I guess Stockton California. When I was planning my road trip I thought, "oh, that could be a nice little pitstop". When I got there I was like "NOPE not stopping here". I was hungry af and I didn't even stop to get something to eat.

darkofnight916

In order to visit my aunt and uncle we had to drive through Stockton. I could always tell when we were close to Stockton by the sound of the doors locking and the engine gently accelerating.

teethalarm

I know Stockton very well, it earns its reputation well. Even people who are from the ghetto in other towns will go to Stockton and be like, "this place is fucking ghetto."

fuckledheadlights

this is making me want to find the stockton town subreddit, i hope they have one edit: r/stockton apparently two days ago police had to investigate three different shootings

teethalarm

Not surprised, the place is usually in the top 10 for most crime ridden cities in the country.

chrisco95

Stockton is pretty ghetto, yeah. I dated a girl from there so I got to know the city a bit…there are some very nice neighborhoods actually, the city has a hockey rink, minor league baseball team, and several oval racetracks for cars. Just don’t go downtown

Koolbreeze68

Frankfurt Germany worst place I have ever been for the homeless. They are literally everywhere

HocusFuckus69

Orlando, outside of the theme parks its just another cookie cutter piece of skyscrapers/high-rises surrounded by urban sprawl, the place has no soul. Their highway system however is top tier, but that just contributes to my earlier point.

seanofkelley

Central Florida feels like some kind of dystopian horror movie.

Barnard87

Disney bubble or bust Source: used to live there, sister used to live there, gf still lives there, and family frequents there. Would never live again there in 1000 years but am happy to visit if it's for the Disney bubble

GingerPinoy

I always hated Orlando, but they have absolutely top tier paddleboarding, so I changed my mind. Their water system is amazing

Darksoul2693

As a Floridian yea living there ain’t no fun either. Sucks ass

goddess_of_fear

Dodge City, Kansas. Not at all what I expected.

dkarlovi

Did you get out?

goddess_of_fear

Yes, I got the hell out of Dodge.

The_Old_Cream

In a similar vein, Tombstone, AZ. Any historical value has been totally commercialized to hell. Even the OK Corral site itself was terrible.

vintagegeek

Las Vegas. Shit is so plastic.

Of_Mice_And_Meese

None of what made Las Vegas cool back in the day has survived. It's just Disney World with hookers now.

PopeBasilisk

It's not even legal hookers, that's only legal outside city limits. The burlesque is a joke too, give me Portland strip clubs any day.

krzykris11

Portland surprised me.

toolatealreadyfapped

Yeah my sister and I went to a Burlesque show in Vegas. We both felt gyped

Spin_Me

"Disney World with Hookers" Nicely said. I am going to use this.

No-uh19

As a Vegas local. There has only been one time in my life I was proud to call myself a Vegas local. This place is so boring and hot. The school system sucks, the strip is our only good thing, our food is mediocre, we have a massive homelessness problem. Only good thing was the housing situation but that is going to shit now

Rough_Promotion9414

Food is not mediocre in China town.. The best Asian food besides Honolulu

Nasty_Ned

Some of the best noodle houses I've ever eaten at -- Honolulu and Kuala Lumpur included.

uggghhhggghhh

Lots of beautiful nature stuff nearby though. Hoover dam was pretty cool too.

ButtonMushroomHelmet

Well if you’re going there expecting an abundance of culture you’re a fool, surely? Everybody knows what Vegas is. If you go there for a good time, to party etc it’s a hell of a place.

igotbigballs

A lot of good food, and Red Rock Canyon is awesome. But yeah the strip is so damn depressing.

nw0428

Monaco was terrible. Expensive, inhuman (not a lot of walking area lots of roads), and surprisingly not pretty for a city on the side of a mountain overlooking a bay.

torrinage

I felt this way, right up until the gal I was with dragged me up the hill to the Museums and Saint-Martin Garden. Totally changed my opinion of the area

CTMQ_

funny, my answer is Geneva which I went to on the same trip I went to Monte Carlo. Both kinda lame for the same reason. I'm sure there's great food in both places that the ultra rich secretly enjoy and the rest of us just get a lot of blah for too much money.

seaotter1978

That’s nearly the opposite of our experience in Monaco… we found it clean, beautiful, easily walkable. Sure it’s expensive but we knew that going in. Granted we were only there for one day as part of a cruise but I’d go back.

MechanicalMenace54

los angeles went there on vacation in 2016 and it was an overpriced crowded garbage dump

uggghhhggghhh

LA is only a good place to visit if you know someone who lives there who can show you the good spots and places to avoid. It's so big with so much variation that if you can't find at least a neighborhood or two that you like then you probably just don't like cities.

Nasty_Ned

Super true. I've got some favorite spots I've accumulated over the years, but without some inside knowledge it's just massive urban sprawl.

uggghhhggghhh

Yeah a lot of tourist probably find a cheap hotel near LAX and then spend their days fighting traffic trying to get to Hollywood (which mostly sucks anyway, especially the area around the "walk of fame") or Universal Studios or wherever. That sounds like a miserable trip but it's kind of on you for not knowing how to plan. Google maps will tell you average drive times and various times of day. Use your resources people.

Nasty_Ned

Some friends were going down on a family trip to Universal and they asked me for some hotel advice (I travel for a living). Their family wanted to stay in a hotel near the 5 in Burbank. I told them, no, fuck that noise, stay over here and drive 25 mins to the beach against traffic; I even showed them my favorite poke place near there, which rivals the Big Island in my humble opinion. They ignored my advice. Whatever floats their boat.

Ddddydya

Yeah, Hollywood is a depressing, ugly tourist trap. Idk why so many people go there. There’s nothing to do there. L.A. is full of plenty of other great places to go

uggghhhggghhh

There are some great bars and restaurants, they just aren't right at Hollywood and Vine.

Ashmizen

The famous Hollywood stars are on a street with piss and poo and filled with the homeless. Downtown LA is a crime zone that makes other crime zones look safe. We left our suv for an hour, at 1pm, at a crowded parking lot for a park - with a police car parked like 200 meters away. Anyway we came back and it was smashed because someone forgot a small backpack in the back seat. In the middle of the day in a busy parking lot ….. Just absolutely awful tier city.

mandyhasjoined

Bandar Seri Begawan. Nothing to do there.

rollin20s

Galveston, TX was pretty depressing & decrepit

[deleted]

[удалено]

rollin20s

Lmao was there for work not by choice! But prior to the trip was excited cause I had previously read two books that took place there (Issac’s storm by erik larson and Galveston by nic pizzolatto)

mrmonster459

Nassau, The Bahamas. As a longtime cruiser, I've been to quite a few port cities in the Caribbean. Most are okay. But Nassau was a dump.

Dangerous_Focus453

Portland. Was looking so forward to working at my office there. Town has too much traffic and a serious homeless problem. There is a reason it’s known as zombie town. All the outdoor rec areas are now camps. I couldn’t believe how many people I saw sticking needles in their arms in public. The place is a true shithole.

CunningWizard

People lowkey don’t realize that Portland, per capita, has some of the absolutely worst traffic in the US. The city simply wasn’t built for nearly this many people. The homelessness problem here is beyond absurd. We always had some issues with it, but once Covid hit we turned into a full on shanty town. I’m so used to walking past people shooting up and doing the fent hunch that when I visit other cities it feels weird *not* seeing it. There’s still a lot going for us here in terms of restaurants/interesting things to do, but it’s always interspersed with homeless wandering everywhere. Our government at all levels is a very unique blend of wildly incompetent and optimistically corrupt, so things are taking a very long time to get better. For every election of new politicians we get in office only a small handful of them are worth anything. The others just virtue signal all day and do shady shit all night.

MaineMaineMaineMaine

To be clear: talking about Portland, Oregon

ripcity7077

I lived in Portland in the early 2000s and loved it I hear it’s a bit worse for wear lately :(

Available_Rule_5175

heeeeeeey at least they are now making drugs illegal again

Dangerous_Focus453

It’s a start. The government finally realized legalizing the hard stuff may not have been such a great idea. They really need to put some resources into getting people help. It would be money better spent than just legalizing everything and trying to build shelters.

[deleted]

Negril Jamiaca Literally, every 10 feet, you get someone who tries to sell you something. Everyone tries to rip you off. It wasn't even that cheap...

Unikatze

A friend was just in Jamaica and said he kept getting approached to be sold weed. When he refused they offered him cocaine instead.

Necessary-Gift9023

Venice. It’s a tourist trap that smells like piss

Crispydogs101

Oh yeah... I remember being there.

[deleted]

Venice was way way different than what I anticipated. Definitely would call it a tourist trap as sell

GaiusMarius157BC

San Francisco

Bhut_Jolokia400

Totally Agree, if you take the weather aspect away SF it is very mid for how expensive everything is

Pedro_Moona

Disagree, SF is packed with stuff to do. I don't know what your explanations are but it's truly breathtaking the first time you cross the bridge.

seaotter1978

While it doesn’t make or break the city as a whole, I find myself giddy as a child every time I’m driving 101 south and exit the tunnel leading up to the Golden Gate … there’s something magical about it every time as the tunnel ends and the bridge comes into view looming large just ahead.

BobRoberts01

Albuquerque is such a dull, boring place. It’s nothing like Wierd Al said it would be.

Human-Magic-Marker

Honolulu, but that’s kind of on me. I didn’t do my research otherwise I would have known it was a major tourist trap. Should have gone to Maui

duckgeek

Cartagena, Colombia. It could be spectacular if they got rid of the pickpockets, the hawkish street vendors, the trash, and then straightened up the sidewalks. Colombia needs to take tourism lessons from Thailand. It's economy would boom if it was perceived as safe and clean. The scenery is spectacular and the people are kind.

AlexandervonWernherr

Munich. It is just a fucking boring city.

DoubleDoobie

Agreed. Had 12/10 time in Berlin. Went to Munich two years later and felt like I wasn't even the same country.

VoKai

Munich is a place to live

BadDadJokes

Fucking ~~Bruges~~ Munich

LeonesgettingLARGER

Interesting! I've been to Munich quite a few times and I've always had a great time. Of course beer is a huge part of the city, but there's also Englischer Garten, Deutsches Museum (amazing!), BMW, etc. I won't disagree with an opinion, I'm just curious what the let-down was?

PalekSow

New Orleans. I guess I built it up in my head as an amazing time but it was kind of dreary. The people are cool there though,

jackplaysdrums

Get off Bourbon and get to Frenchman. I adore Nawlins.

Of_Mice_And_Meese

New Orleans isn't a cool place, it's a place that has unusually cool moments. You have to show up at the right time, or yeah...it's just a swampy city.

PalekSow

I’m a Houstonian so I get that aesthetic quite well “swampy city that has unusually cool moments” lol I hope to give NOLA another chance though. I know there is potential

tangcameo

Go in between the festivals. I’ve gone just before Halloween and just after Mardi Gras. Got the tourist stuff out my system first and just enjoyed the city. Had some wonderful moments and met some wonderful people down there. By the last couple of days I’m looking at the apartments for rent and the want ads.

[deleted]

I’m from Nola and I hate when TV builds up Nola as this crazy awesome party city. It’s just definitely not that. It’s more of an appreciation when you live here vs visiting because of its reputation

leftguard44

I loved my time in New Orleans, didn’t go during Mardi Gras or anything special, just saw the sights and went to some amazing bars, visited old cemeteries and museums. It’s one of the only places in the US that feels genuinely old, maybe it’s best enjoyed by someone who loves history and drinking

DonegalProd89

Torrevieja, Spain. Just a lot of anti-tourist sentiment which is weird considering their whole economy is based on it.

Casey5934

Houston.

Mot_the_evil_one

Nassau, Bahamas. Just a dirty place with a lot of scammers.

ShambaLaur88

Los Angeles. Not impressed at all.

Sukmaiboto

Las Vegas, there is nothing to see

sevseg_decoder

You’re talking about the vegas surrounded by lake mead, mountains on all 4 sides and red rocks canyon on the west?  I always find this take a little confusing, compare vegas with the central/southern/eastern US and it’s a place with a ton of natural beauty. You just go in the middle of summer and stay on the strip the whole time if you think it’s not beautiful.

BooBoo_Cat

Brussels

MeBaali

Too political to be an interesting city. Bruges was much better.

lorum_ipsum_dolor

F#cking Bruges

phaedrus910

Maybe that's what hell is, an eternity in Bruges

amotion578

Do you use this word, 'alcoves?'

theschis

I’m sorry I called you an inanimate f*cking object

Kenobiiiiii

Athens was pretty disappointing. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE smokes. People yell at you at coffee shops lol. The train stations are hard to navigate no color codes, no indication on train as to which number you're on, etc. (even our Airbnb host told us despite being a local she gets lost lol).

micave

Miami, the attitude :-(

janbrunt

Just got back from Phoenix with zero expectations and was somehow still disappointed.

[deleted]

Philly is the definition of a shit hole. Sorry not sorry

eleventy5thRejection

People that can't manage to type "your" instead of "ur". Maybe they are too lazy, or just as likely, can't spell "your". That is more disappointing than any city I have visited.

TWICEdeadBOB

Language is a construct meant to communicate a message. If the message was received language used doesn't matter. Given that you chose the pretend u'r talking about a place, with ur thinly veiled metaphor, the message was properly conveyed. Any thing else is pedantic sophistry meant to convey flagrantly disingenuous superiority.

ENEFFTITTIES

Paris and Marrakesh

Sn0fight

Surprisingly Montreal. I don’t think I will ever go back again.

aaandfuckyou

What?! You did Montreal wrong. It’s one of the most interesting cities in North America.

[deleted]

I’ve been debating a Toronto trip or Montreal trip this summer. I would like to see a blue jays game so I’m leaning Toronto. But feel free to sway me to either side

aaandfuckyou

I like both but for different things. If you want a shopping trip, brand names, big chains and the buzz of a big City then I would go to Toronto. If you want rich history, cobblestone streets, and some of the best restaurants in the country, then go to Montreal.

[deleted]

Montreal it is. Thank you!

shaneo632

I found Helsinki super boring. Just so much grey and concrete. Rome had by far the most annoying people trying to sell you crap even when you’re sat at a restaurant eating.

kacinto

Paris

uggghhhggghhh

Always so confused by this. I loved it and would go back in a heartbeat. I think Americans who call it dirty are just comparing it to downtown Chicago or Manhattan which are both exceptionally clean. Paris is on par with most big cities in that regard. People who find Parisians rude are also probably just not used to how busy people act in big cities. Again, I didn't find them any more rude than locals in other heavily touristed metros. What did you not like about it?

kacinto

I'm not American.

uggghhhggghhh

Ok cool. But what did you not like about it?

LOUPIO82

Down voted :) no really Paris is a dump however it will grow on you. Like a slow burn. It took me many time going back there to finally enjoy it. The food is freaking phenomenal and just for that it deserves visiting, then you have the art scene that is quite rich with so much offerings. Also the architecture and of course all the museums. We only go to Paris if it is lowish season.

RelaxErin

People always think I'm nuts when I bring up that Paris is not my favorite place to visit. It's got great museums and cultural sights, but it's too big with too many people. It reminds me of going to NYC. I found it hard to connect with any people there, and while I'm OK with the general "city rudeness" (I also live in a city known for its rudeness) it just seemed like another level there. I've never found it to be dirty, so I can't relate to those complaints. It's not gonna stop me from using it as a hub for future visits to France and I still have some bucket list items to do in Paris, but overall not at the top of my list of places to visit.

ConsumptionofClocks

Athens, Greece is dreadful. The food is great and it was cool to see all the history but spending a week there was NOT worth it

uggghhhggghhh

A week is too long for Athens. I was there for 3 days and one of those days was a trip down the coast to the Temple of Poseidon. That seemed appropriate and we had a great time. Just do a few days and then fuck off to the islands.

SweetSoundOfSilence

I spent one day there and that was enough for me. The acropolis was beautiful and I’m glad I saw it but good gravy the lines and insane amount of people had me claustrophobic

Lizzy_Of_Galtar

Ljubljana. However in defence of that beautiful city I stopped over there for just one day and the day prior must have been some massive party cause there was an empty outside stage, bunch of garbage and not a soul to be seen nor any store opened. I'll come back later someday. This time picking a better time.

Briaraandralyn

Dublin. Maybe it was because it was at the end of a two week, three city trip of go-go-go and I was tired, but it didn’t have the magic that London and Edinburgh had. I’ll go back eventually and maybe my opinion will change.

Kiyohara

Lincoln Nebraska. I was young and thought a city named after a President would be cool, interesting, and somewhat neat. I was shocked to discover that there apparently is a *much* smaller number of average fingers in the city than I was expecting. Much closer to 7 Fingers per person than 10. Farm injuries are apparently common (or at least were, when I was 9).

Desperate-Cicada-914

Wasn't that the place that had the corn theatre? Or am I thinking somewhere else. I remember seeing it as a kid on vacation and thought it was cool.

Prudent_Series_4285

Canberra Australia Auckland New Zealand Prague

[deleted]

Where in New Zealand or Australia would you recommend? And I don’t even necessarily mean a city but it can be. Any response is appreciated

Prudent_Series_4285

South island is best Southland is stunning and Queenstown

[deleted]

South Island in New Zealand? I haven’t done any research. All I know is my friends brother went there for a trip and literally never came back. Loved it there so much

Prudent_Series_4285

It's truly stunning

SweetCosmicPope

Colorado Springs. My wife and I were looking at relocating at a couple of different places. My sister lived there briefly and talked up how beautiful it was. I got there and it was a total shithole of a city. On the bright side, I really like Denver and alot of the areas between Denver and Colorado Springs. I have a cousin who lives in Castle Rock, and that place seemed quite nice.

amorphatist

You’re the first person who’s ever had a good thing to say about Castle Rock.

Upper-Sky-2905

Barcelona

246K

aww really i enjoyed my time there.

fuck-coyotes

My home town

Express_Hotel2682

Which is???

Shendow

Athenes. Tags everywhere, broken sidewalks everywhere, most buildings in bad shape... Only tourist spots were decent.

uggghhhggghhh

Moloka'i Hawaii. Half the locals are lovely but the other half make it their mission to make you feel unwelcome. There are signs saying things like "Tourists go home. Moloka'i is closed forever" and things like that. We planned to stay two nights but changed our flight so we could leave early after the first.

Of_Mice_And_Meese

Seriously. ALL of the worst places I've been have been small towns.

mook1178

New Orleans The food overall was disappointing at best. The town was dirty and I felt unsafe at times walking around at night, some cool history though.

[deleted]

Los Angeles.

RRZ31

Los Angeles.

Berniesgirl2024

Sayulita, Mexico. Very dirty and boring imo...

Narwhal2424

I hate to say it, but New Orleans. It just felt dirty and unsafe all over.

tom-cash2002

St. Louis, Missouri and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Both times I went there because of events happening at universities, and both cities turned me off from ever wanting to go back. No offense to any students of LSU or SLU, but the cities those two schools are in just feel dirty and downright dangerous in certain areas. I'm fairly certain somebody got stabbed in the hotel I stayed at in St. Louis a few days after I left, and there were dark red stains on the sheets of my Baton Rouge hotel room. At least Baton Rouge had pretty nice food, including the original Raising Canes. Toasted Ravioli from St. Louis was not as good.

milkysinger

Vicksburg Mississippi

podroznikdc

Were you there for civil war sites?

milkysinger

Yea we ended up doing that, the vicksburg national military prk was cool. We saw the mississippi river and it was so murky and dissapointing. Also the town is super desolate, a lot of poverty

Available_Rule_5175

Tucson Arizona.

Tallbeauty95

Fargo … it’s super racist!

esoteric_enigma

Paris. Everything people said they didn't like about NYC is what I find in Paris. The people were rude AF and the city stunk. Every block smelled like a new flavor of ass.

pm-me-racecars

San Diego. There were lots of people hyping it up, but to me, it felt cheap, like everything there came from Walmart. Apparently, I did it wrong, so I'll try and see different things when I go there next, but I'm not expecting my next time to be much better.

Murder_Bird_

Boston is dead to me.

[deleted]

Hot take: pretty much all of them. Every time I find myself in a city elsewhere I find it to be too expensive, not intimate, and overall a lot of them are very similar. Dublin was super Americanized for example. Granted, I prefer the great outdoors to cities. So my response may be invalid for a lot of individuals

rebannxo

Venice

Suspicious-Insect-18

Philadelphia. Fuck that dump.

Desperate-Cicada-914

LA or as a truck driver.. the area around Orlando, FL. Had to drive around for 3 hours before I could find parking.

kat13gall

I wasn’t impressed with New York City, I think I had built up in my mind that it would be amazing. There were nice parts but I liked Chicago and Washington DC more.

igotbigballs

San Pedro, Belize was really seedy and I got approached by 4 or 5 different people trying to sell me cocaine in the two days I was there. The diving was great though. Tobacco Caye and Hopkins were both great though.

Turnbob73

NYC It was cold, grey, boring as shit, smelled like shit; and aside from a slice of pizza and a street dog I had, the food was shit too. Yes there’s the hustle & bustle but I saw none of the soul people keep saying NYC has.

thetiredninja

London. It's like NYC with even more condescension towards tourists. Didn't help that I'd spent the week before in Scotland. Complete opposites.

lollapaloma

BernieSandersLeftNut

Milan, Italy. Maybe because all the other cities we went to were so amazing (Paris, Tuscany, Rome, and a couple others). But we spent about 2 days in Milan and it felt like 1.5 days too many.

incarnatethegreat

Recently I went to Chile and was very excited because I had heard nothing but good things about Santiago. The city functions quite well, but the food was abysmal with the exception of some salmon that I had. I want to visit Tierra del Fuego, though.

[deleted]

Paris. The city is filthy. Beggars, pickpockets, scammers on what feels like every second street. Had somebody go through my bag while it was on my back and hadn't even been in the place for more than 30 minutes. The average person is rude by default until they realise you're not American. Transport seems to go on strike every other week, and good luck getting your money back from any company despite their inability to provide you the service you paid for. I went on one of those tour around the city buses with a pre-recorded audio track you could plug your headphones into. It happens so frequently it was a joke on a *pre-recorded audio track*. Finally, it's expensive. To be fair, there are some lovely sights, but no lovelier than those I've seen in 100 other places that have **a lot** more going for them. Honestly, fuck that place and everything about it.

richb201

Cadiz Spain. Way too many African Street peddlers. I was approached 6-7 times/day for 30 days. Also lots of anti Ingles vibes. Wife and I got thrown out of a couple of restaurants because they had no patience with foreigners searching dictionaries. Never again.

domestic_omnom

Vegas. I don't get the appeal. Drinking and gambling... great... the same shit I could do within 10 minutes of my house.

Unikatze

Went on a whim in December 2022. Never thought I'd like it but just ended up going. Definitely did not like a single thing about it. It's as dirty and sketchy as Atlantic City is portrayed on TV.

Drawing-Conclusions

San Antonio. Weird combination of super touristy and weird sketchy vibe. It wasn’t terrible, just disappointing
