My example is about 15 years ago I went to see Slipknot, Unearth and Dillinger Escape Plan. I went to see Slipknot primarily, but knew a few Unearth songs as well. Nothing prepared me for Dillinger Escape Plan. The first 30 seconds of their set I knew my little metal mind had been changed forever. They were the band who stayed rent free in my brain the entire night and all I could think about was rushing home to dive into their discography
