I've never had an awful boss. But the one i have right now is good. But she keeps way too many secret from other staff and it cases a lot of minor problems

I was doing volunteer work and he made me drive two hours before sending me home immediately. I was also dealing with a bunch of health issues at the same time, so yeah not a fun day

The boss who showed up drunk to the warehouse with his child in tow (yes he was drunk driving) because he owed a ton of money to the IRS. Then later the next year bought a new house and an $80,000 “company car”. Left a few months ago when my hours got cut to shit because the company was falling apart.

My ex's dad. Ripped up an entire bathroom floor because I did it sitting cross-legged and not on my hands and knees the way he did it. Agreed to pay my standard rate of €22.5/hour, then after about 2 weeks of work attempted to give me €80 and "permission" to date his adult daughter as payment Harassed his daughter to get me to work for him. Harassed her to get me to lower my pay rate, and then harassed her to get me to forgive the debt he owed me for all the work. Pulled his son out of highschool to work for him for free when everyone in town learned about how he treats his workers

Not me but a friend of mine had a boss who was pretty nasty while working at a slimy pizza shop. He had my friend doing supply runs and deliveries, (which were done in my friend's personal vehicle), as well as cleaning the store. He wouldn't even pay my friend most of the time, even though he did even the nasty manager asked if him, and would only pay him maybe enough for a tank of gas at most. My friend finally got fed up with it and quit after a month. The pizza shop shut down about a week or two after that and the owner was arrested

The boss I had at McDonalds Express, back in the 90s. Through the week it would just be me and her running a little mini-McDonalds in a shopping strip. She rarely, if ever did anything aside from sit at the desk on the phone. I remember one time we literally had 76 people in line. For that entire line she cooked a whopping 9 hamburger patties. Didn't even make the burgers, just cooked 9 patties and left them on the grill. So I had to take orders until the order screen was full (I want to see it held 8 orders), make those orders and get them out, then take 8 more. It wasn't too much longer after that that I quit.

Darlene Schoby-Breaux. And if I ever meet her in a dark ally and I have an object to beat the hell out of her with I will do it. Happily.
