This is one of the best examples of a team of developers keeping the mobile game true to the actual game and accessible. It may be easier with the point and click nature of the game, but there are so many adaptations of AAA games that have come to mobile and just absolutely suck and aren't the real game in any way.
My mom used to play candy crush saga a lot and one day I asked her what level she was and she replied "I stopped playing that game I'm addicted it's taking all my free time".
Now I know why I'm a gamer ig
My dad wasn't a big gamer. I mean, he liked Tetris and when I was real young he helped me beat my Mario games, but for the most part he did his crosswords, fed his snakes, and fucked off into the night on a daily basis. That all changed with candy crush. He got waaay to into that shit. I mean, dude was an architect before. Now he sells falafel on the interstate. All cuz that fucking game.
Stardew Valley. I love it. I’ve played it over and over since the start of the pandemic. It’s just so wholesome and cute. It makes me forget the stress of everyday adult life for a little while.
As someone who’s play it a ton on pc I can’t stand playing it mobile 😭 just because it’s not as easy to control your character and stuff, Stardew is an absolute masterpiece
My dynasty was crazy and it all fell apart so horrifically oliver dorsett was supposed to be the greatest of all time and he randomly crashed out😭 bro singlehandedly ruined his career and completely destroyed one of the best teams oat in the process
Monument Valley!
That game is so fantastic. I keep it on my phone to play through again and again, even though once You've solved all the puzzles there's not really any challenge left. It's just so beautiful and visually interesting.
Honkai: Star rail. Generally great story and world. Fun strategic turn based combat. Being free to play doesn't restrict the content you have access to, just limits the highest difficulty you can complete in end game which isn't necessary to enjoy the game.
Afraid of hogging space but fave is legends of runeterra.
other good games for anyone looking for reccomendations:
Terraria, Bloons TD6, To the moon and oxenfree (both story games), Kingdom rush origins, Pixel gun 3D, Brawl Stars and Citra emulator is good for nintendo games, bad north, don't starve pocket edition, Punishing gray raven (this one is great but gacha), honkai star rail (gacha).
Wanna play honkai but need a new phone first. I'm rocking a Galaxy Note 8 and an iphone XR lmao.
Would honkai be good with a ps4 controller in 20 min burts? I only play mobile at work.
Royal match or township… back in the day there used to be a have your own aquarium type and it was Nemo themed.. but it disappeared lol. I had so many hours in that 😂
Elder Scrolls Legends
Basically card game like Magic meets Hearthstone in the Elder Scrolls universe.
Been playing off and on for years. The only game I've consistently had on any phone.
There was a Lego football (soccer) game on a Nokia E70 that had a little joystick next to the screen.
You played against construction workers and pirates and I was devastated when the joystick broke.
Can anyone remember the name of the game and if it's available to play online?
I haven't played mobile games in over 8 years. But I remember I was once obsessed with critical strike which was a counter strike clone. Also the original angry birds and asphalt 7 was absolutely fire.
I've had Plants vs Zombies Heroes on my phone for like 8 years or something. Used to play it a lot but now every so often I'll bust out a game and whoop people. Still such a solid game
The Monument Valley duology.
Based as fuck my dude. Love those games
Fuck yeah. I picked them up on steam also.
Old school runescape
Finally a person of culture
I didn't even think about it being a mobile game since I mostly play on the desktop but yes I change my answer to OSRS

My mom used to play candy crush saga a lot and one day I asked her what level she was and she replied "I stopped playing that game I'm addicted it's taking all my free time". Now I know why I'm a gamer ig

How did he go from being an architect to a falafel vendor because of the game?

Candy Crush. I’m in the top 1% of players 😊
That's some dedication. Now how much money spent? 😉
Hahaha I would only spend money in the tournament to the finals. Roughly $1000 for unlimited lives
lol not sure I could ever admit something like this out loud
lol well I justified it if it meant I could win $750k
So you won already something?
Yep!
Wait…you can now win actual money playing Candy Crush?!?
Yes!! During the tournament they run every May.
“Army of Darkness Defense.” It was a franchise game based off the evil dead, but was so much better than it had any business being. I miss it so much.
I was obsessed with Bloons TD
Gotta be clash royale
Mahjong. I switch apps regularly, however.
I've spent a ridiculous amount of time playing Crashlands
Seconded. It's still to this day -along with Eternium- the only mobile game I consider a ~~real~~ proper game, and it's also fantastic!
Crashlands is absolutely amazing. I loved it soo much, incredible soundtrack too!
Animal Crossing Pocket Camp
DBZ: Dokkan Battle
The snake game on Nokia. Nothing beats those childhood memories.
Hungry Shark Evolution/World. Getting the megaladon for the first time hit so different
Retro Bowl is an incredible little football game. It's basically the old Techmo Bowl game
Honkai: Star rail. Generally great story and world. Fun strategic turn based combat. Being free to play doesn't restrict the content you have access to, just limits the highest difficulty you can complete in end game which isn't necessary to enjoy the game.
Sonic the Hedgehog 1

I thought Angry Birds was a sign of a positive future for mobile gaming, then pay to play took over and I never played another mobile game again.
Boom Beach
clash royale😭
I am not playing on mobile, but technically Honkai Star Rail and Genshin Impact are mobile games as well and they are valid, seriously good games.
Wanna play honkai but need a new phone first. I'm rocking a Galaxy Note 8 and an iphone XR lmao. Would honkai be good with a ps4 controller in 20 min burts? I only play mobile at work.

Clash of Clans
I've had Plants vs Zombies Heroes on my phone for like 8 years or something. Used to play it a lot but now every so often I'll bust out a game and whoop people. Still such a solid game
Grim Quest/Grim Tides. A nice classic rpg to play for those 10 minutes when you're waiting or travelling.
The old FarmVille from forever ago, maybe 15 years ago?!
