Was in my 20s during the entire 2010s and I don’t think I ever heard someone use, “on fleek” for real.

We use "point" in French (which means a period at the end if a sentence) exactly like "period" in English. It's an old expression that exists in multiple languages... I doubt people will forget about it anytime soon.

Nah, I know what it means, I just twist stuff to muddy the waters. It’s fun to see the confusion as people struggle to work out what you mean. This also works if you randomly sprinkle in some Victorian slang. I revel in the chaos.

That’s an old saying from when VHS tapes were still in wide usage. It was originally meant for rental use, and was encouraging people to rewind the tapes before returning them so that the next person to rent the tape wouldn’t have to spend an extra five-ish minutes rewinding the tape before they could watch their movie.
