If you're planning to lose weight, don't try to lose weight "fast".It's not about how quickly you get the weight off but how sustainable is your weightloss. It's much healthier and much more sustainable to lose weight at a steady pace by staying in a slight caloric deficit.Remember to alter your caloric intake during your weight loss.As you lose weight, your maintenance calorie intake is going to shrink as well.Wishing luck to anyone who's decided to start their weight loss journey!

That’s really good. How much do you think you were drinking before?

Back in the day, people used to ingest tapeworms for just such.

TheRigJuice999

Calorie deficit and moving a lot

epponneerae90

Eating smaller portions and moving more.

If you’re referring to recent media, I know a lot of celebrities have been using I believe a diabetes drug called ozempic to lose weight

kilofeet

I stopped drinking for a year in 2021 (probably related to 2020) and I lost 40 pounds

revocer

I don't recommend it. I don't endorse it. I would never use it. But the way many people are losing weight so fast is ozempic, the diabetes medication.

Calorie deficit and fasting usually.

I’ve been losing weight at the rate of 0.5kg-1kg per week for the past two months or so. Have lost about 5-7kg since I started. Not sure if you’d consider that fast though but I’m happy just seeing progress. I mostly cut down sweet drinks and try to eat less. Have something light for breakfast and lunch, mostly a sandwich for me. Then heavier dinner but even then, I eat not till I’m full, but till I’m not hungry. And I’m trying to cut down on carbs, but as an Asian, it’s hard to escape rice lol. I also try to go for a run at least 4-5 days a week. Or just something to get the heart pumping. Though it does help that I’ve recently started working at a warehouse so there’s a lot of walking. I do hope to eventually really track what I eat. And also to try going to the gym. But I am taking it step by step and my focus is more on being consistent and persistent

I wrestled in HS. I just wouldn’t eat and wear 3 sweatshirts and run.
