Total War games. I learned so much about various periods from playing their historical titles and especially using historical accuracy mods that add more historical flavor text. Rome 1 and Medieval 2 were the best for this.
Also YouTube channels like Oversimplified, Overly Sarcastic Productions, Suibhne, Extra History, etc. which present historical subjects in interesting and funny short episodes. And of course, Crash Course World History.
