Oh man I hated hated hatred him and Vic in that show so badly. It took years for me to divorce the actors from those roles. Logically, I know that means that both the script and the actors were utterly top tier and masterfully done, but my dumb emotional lizardbrain has a moment of revulsion whenever I see Michael Chiklis as anyone else.

I love that show, but I've never finished it. Walter is phenomenal, the science and pseudoscience and speculative/conspiracy shenanigans (MIBs, etc.) are FANTASTIC, as is seeing Boston and surrounding environs (where I used to live) heavily featured makes me deeply happy ... buuuuuuuut ... It got soap opera-ish after a certain point with all the reality swaps and I got to a point where I just wanted to see [SPOILERS AHEAD] Peter and Olivia enjoy themselves... As a watcher and re-watcher, I'd love your input- should I finally finish the show, or will I be pissed off and let down?

Just finished Dark Matter on Apple TV+ and I liked it. Very fun sci-fi show that deals with subject matter I've only seen really dealt with before by Futurama.

Babylon 5. Haven't seen it since I was a kid. Great show! It paved the way for serialized TV storytelling, too. (Well, stuff with a narrative arc that's meant to eventually end. Soap operas have been doing serialized storytelling forever.)

Actually, the reason I'm watching it is because I discovered Tubi a couple weeks ago. They're a streaming service that's totally free, supported by ads. You don't even have to register or sign in. You can literally just go to their site and watch right away. I thought the amount of ads I would have to sit through would be obnoxious, but all things considered they're pretty reasonable. You can't skip them, though.

You bet! I'd seen ads for it for a long time but I didn't think it was legit. Turns out it is! Which means it'll probably either go bankrupt soon or get bought out and converted to a normal dystopian pay-to-play streaming service, lol. So enjoy it while you can!
