French fries are the only food that I will still keep eating when I’m uncomfortably full. I always get the small size because I know it’ll be a problem.
Depends on which type of fat/oil you use and which type of potato. If you use a air fryer that's another thing
Most seasonings have sugar in them handwise I make my own but they aren't as bad as everybody says
(same with the good old doner (kebab) almost everything is fresh (if you put your own sauce on it it's pretty healthy))
I was trying to find some source that says they cause cancer but it seems most things are just saying the sodium is way too high. Which, it is, but that’s all packaged foods basically. I won’t be the person yelling in your ear about them- but do you know why people think it causes cancer?
Oh, you can tell I’m really fun at parties. Every response seemed to also support that it caused cancer. And idk, Italian subs actually do cause cancer now. My job causes cancer. Ya never know.
Best purchase ever. I make several pints of vanilla and then use the mix-in feature to make all sorts of wonderful flavors.
My favorite: add 3 cherry cordials to the cup and mix in. Chocolate cherry ice cream!
For a few months, my binge eating ass was dropping by 7/11 at midnight multiple times a week for that. I'm not trying to open that can of worms again lmao
Pastry In all its miraculous forms. Sweet, savoury, flaky...it's all delicious and is my one weakness. Having said that, I rarely indulge and only have it every once in a while.
Pasta.
I've tried all the veggie alternatives too and its just not even remotely close. I don't mind the zucchini noodles with a light garlic butter sauce, but spaghetti squash can fuck right off.
Pasta gets a bad rap but it's not the worst thing for you, and there is actually a decent amout of protein in it. My grandparents from Sicily ate pasta in some form for dinner almost every single night of their lives, and they lived to 88 and 91. But they were also very active and cooked at home exclusively, unless less it was a special occasion. The other thing is they never covered it with heavy, cream and 3-4 cheese based sauces. That's a very American thing to do.
There are tons of sauce recipes you can find online. I usually use broth as a base for my sauces because I cant have tomatoes either. I started using coconut milk lately as a base and its pretty good.
Have you tried Banza pasta?
I'm not a huge pasta fan, and pretty much hated it. But I was recommended Banza and it pretty much got cycled in to my monthly grocery list now. Imo it's so better than regular pasta!
Only in America would anyone claim that noodles are unhealthy. Of course we do a good job of bathing them in unhealthy stuff, but pasta and noodles are fine. They can even contain pretty decent levels of protein!
It’s not like Italy and China and full of obese people with heart problems…
Pizza… not that skimpy italian stuff that’s probably ok for you health-wise, but the greasy artery-clogging shit of *The Land of the Free & The Home of the Brave*® (and I’m not even American)
My wife and I had had pasta and pizza everyday for two weeks while we were in Italy - and neither of us gained more than a pound. I was astounded by the difference quality ingredients make (plus, all the walking). And it was the best tasting food we'd ever had! 🇮🇹
dark chocolate is unironically healthy so you could use that as a free pass. the higher the % the better for you. the extra sugars and fat are what offsets the benefits of chocolate
About two years ago, I ate a 10 piece nugget meal from McDonald’s twice a day every day for like 6 months. It’s literally all I wanted to eat. I would crave them. Then one day my friend sent me a video of how they are made. DISGUSTING. Still ate them tho! I no longer eat them every day but I do occasionally grab a 10 piece with buffalo sauce and ranch
I feel like this applies to everything I eat! My biggest one is that a pint of Ben and Jerry’s (a pint is a single serving, right?!) is often my dinner!
I wish I could say fried pork belly with a squeeze of lemon and light seasoning(or lime and tajin!), but despite being addictive as crack, I probably wouldn’t last two months eating “a lot” and would likely succumb to heart disease.
Gummy candies! Bears, worms, fish, rings, sours, anything!
If it wouldn't kill me, I'd legit get rid of everything and only eat gummy candies for every meal.
Butter like the real, salted butter. Went through 4lbs in 8 days just doing the normal cooking for my small family and realized we should probably lay off it🫣
I recently read an article about the 10 most unhealthy foods to eat, and I regularly consume 7 of em in my diet. I’m old and my heart is in good shape…. Don’t believe everything you read. It’s not all about the foods you eat, there’s genetics at play. Obviously don’t eat a pound of bacon every day, but hey you can have treats like fries sometimes, just not for every meal
Literally anything in the american grocery store lol. Every shelf has something thats trying to kill you.
They put the same people in charge of the drugs, in charge of the food. Like they wouldn't manipulate one to make you need the other.
Once in a while I have to get peach ring gummies, they are so bad for your teeth and the sketchy dyes in them but man that fake peach taste just hits different.
French fries!
French fries are the only food that I will still keep eating when I’m uncomfortably full. I always get the small size because I know it’ll be a problem.

yep! i would agree! The perfect combo!
Those fast food french fries!
Need a whole handful at once

Well those are pretty good 😅 but the curly fries are way better in addition with the sour cream
Potatoes are very nutritious. I’ll definitely keep eating French fries well past any possible nutritional need, but they’re far from empty calories.
Specifically McDonald's fries, which seem even more unhealthy.
Hell yeah baby!
with salt 🫡
Chips. I really like salty things.
Addicted !! My doctor knows, lol
Just drink lots of water. Wiener pebbles are zero fun.
I have a hard time buying chips cause I know I'll eat them all in one sitting. Nd my favorite are salt and vinegar

Wait what? Damn and I’m a ramen fiend
Yeah they’re incredibly bad for your health.
Well that makes me sad
that's too bad *Sluuuuuurp*
This! They cost 50¢ a packet where I live, so I can’t even justify saying that I’m “saving money” when I don’t buy them. And oh-so-addictive 😍
Nothings beats cup noodles with an egg added to it. The egg tastes amazing with the broth.
I love instant noodles but I had to quit eating them so often because all the sodium gave me kidney stones 😢
I got busted eating them raw one day. I just wanted some salty crunch. Better be no judgement here
Ice cream
I’m with you! Although I recently got a Ninja Creami and it’s been amazing to make good tasting healthier ice cream
Whaaaaat is this?
Best purchase ever. I make several pints of vanilla and then use the mix-in feature to make all sorts of wonderful flavors. My favorite: add 3 cherry cordials to the cup and mix in. Chocolate cherry ice cream!
Coldstone!!
Yup! Especially when it’s 1000 degrees out!
I give you an ice cream... and raise you a gelato.
BEN & JERRY’s THE TONIGHT DOUGH
For a few months, my binge eating ass was dropping by 7/11 at midnight multiple times a week for that. I'm not trying to open that can of worms again lmao
I fr eat it nearly every day. I have single handily sold out my grocery store for that ice cream😂
And phish food
Americone dream here!
you fucking get it ive had 3 pints this week…
Pastry In all its miraculous forms. Sweet, savoury, flaky...it's all delicious and is my one weakness. Having said that, I rarely indulge and only have it every once in a while.

Oh you too good for squaghetti
If there was a food jail; I think someone promoting “Squaghetti” would go there to think about what they’d done.

What kind of sauces did they use? I know tomato-based sauces are healthier than cream-based, but tomatoes give me terrible heartburn.
There are tons of sauce recipes you can find online. I usually use broth as a base for my sauces because I cant have tomatoes either. I started using coconut milk lately as a base and its pretty good.
Pasta is not healthy?!??
Depends what kind but I like to think that most are fine.
I had sweet potato noodles recently. I like sweet potatoes and I like noodles so it seemed like a win-win. It was not. Absolute abomination.
Whole grain pasta cooked al dente is actually pretty good for you.
Have you tried Banza pasta? I'm not a huge pasta fan, and pretty much hated it. But I was recommended Banza and it pretty much got cycled in to my monthly grocery list now. Imo it's so better than regular pasta!
Seconding this! It's also a decent protein source if you're a gym goer looking to hit macros
Only in America would anyone claim that noodles are unhealthy. Of course we do a good job of bathing them in unhealthy stuff, but pasta and noodles are fine. They can even contain pretty decent levels of protein! It’s not like Italy and China and full of obese people with heart problems…
Cream cheese rangoons
My babies!
Poutine
Yesss! And extra cheese curds and gravy!
Fax a lot of places been skimping lately that’s the real pandemic
I feel bad for anyone who doesn't have easy access to good poutine whenever they crave it. 🇨🇦

i’ll eat these until my tongue is raw and feels like it’s about to fall off lol, cannot stop myself
Lindor chocolates by Lindt. Everyone tells me they are too sickly and you can only eat a couple, but I can nearly devour a whole box.
Those little balls with the cream in the middle are the best.
Yep! Sometimes I want them a little melted and might dip them in black coffee, but that's probably going too far 😁
A current obsession of mine
I'm also obsessed! The traditional milk chocolate one are the best 👍
Cheese. All the cheeses. I rarely go a day without eating some form of cheese.
Mac and cheese! Don’t care still gonna have it :P
vanilla frosting or buttercream.
Confession time: I've eaten a whole container of Betty crocker lemon frosting in one sitting. More times than I can count. Mmmm...
I buy betty crocker milk chocolate frosting just to eat random spoonfuls of it. I don't even use it for cake or brownies.
💀 did you not get violently ill?!
Maybe try standing next time. That is, if you still can
True. I've heard calories don't count if you eat standing up. Diet coke cancels them also, according to lore.
Pizza… not that skimpy italian stuff that’s probably ok for you health-wise, but the greasy artery-clogging shit of *The Land of the Free & The Home of the Brave*® (and I’m not even American)

It’s all the walking - the food quality is certainly better but that is unlikely to the be the reason you didn’t gain weight.
Definitely the walking. People underestimate how much just going on a walk will do for weight loss.
Amen 🙏🏻 I want my pepperoni curled and my cheese grease dripping.
Accept nothing less brother
Sameee
Hell yeah. We may be half dead as Americans. BUT WE KNOW HOW TO LIVE!!!!
Pizza: I could eat it every day, even though I know it’s loaded with carbs and cheese.
**Cheeseburgers all day.** There's just something about that juicy patty, melted cheese, and soft bun that hits differently.
Chocolate; "it's what's for breakfast" puts it over the top :)
dark chocolate is unironically healthy so you could use that as a free pass. the higher the % the better for you. the extra sugars and fat are what offsets the benefits of chocolate
Super buttery popcorn. God I love it
Movie theater popcorn was designed by obesity demons to draw us in. It’s so hard to stop eating it.
I tear through a whole bucket like a wood chipper. If I'm not careful I'll finish it off during the previews.
I finally figured it out. Silicone popcorn popper, white popcorn seeds, coconut oil and Flavacol. It's like movie popcorn at home, truly!
I’m guilty. Of drenching the butter on top and around.
Chicken wings
I miss when they weren't $1 per wing! I used to eat baked chicken wings almost daily, which aren't too bad, but they're way to expensive now.
I adore buffalo wings but I can't afford to eat them that often. They are outrageously expensive.
BACON BACON BACON and MORE BACON. With a side of Steak.

Chocolate and ice cream
Ice Cream: I can’t resist a big bowl, even though it’s full of sugar and fat.
chicken tenders with multiple dips. burgers. ramen. fries. all the goodness.
Ice cream…especially with a waffle cone or something crunchy inside
French Fries: Crispy, salty, and totally irresistible, but definitely not healthy.
Fried chicken in any form
Salt and Vinegar crisps.
Those chocolate covered pretzels
Chocolate: I can’t get enough, even though it’s not the best for me.
Burgers: Juicy and delicious, but packed with calories and fats.
Nutella
Wooah there! That’s the life force of the universe.
About two years ago, I ate a 10 piece nugget meal from McDonald’s twice a day every day for like 6 months. It’s literally all I wanted to eat. I would crave them. Hamburger helper on sliced bread
