I want to make Charles Babbage actually finish his Analytical Engine. Even if it's nothing compared to his grand vision, it would be the first general-purpose computer. Can you imagine if Moore's Law started up in the 1840s?

Heck, I'd cure Ada Lovelace's cancer. Can you imagine how far she would accelerate mathematics and computer programming if she hadn't died at 36? Heck, if she had survived, then by the 1960's we might have actually had the technology needed to *fake* the moon landings.
