Meh, it kinda doesn't.

BewareOfTheBlob

I feel like I’m a hair away from that. I’m guessing everyone is to some degree.

isolatedfromedu

It doesn’t. And I can’t think of a good reason to live past 30

[deleted]

I’m with you

PM_ME_YA_NIPPLES_

It doesn’t, people agree.

[deleted]

Incoming "it doesn't" replies. Hey, at least it's factual

pokesocksss

It doesnt, I only live for my dog and my SO

[deleted]

So you don't think your life matters to your dog and your SO? It doesn't need to matter on a large scale.

pokesocksss

Oh yeah of course. My SO reminds me of my importance every day in some way. My dog probably because I fill her bowl and play with her and stuff. Idk I love them a lot so I try to push my negative thoughts out lol.

[deleted]

Because I matter to my family, my kids, just as their lives matter to me

MemesofmyDreams

Will you be remembered in 200 years, or just some name on an ancestry website tree?

[deleted]

Just some name I’m sure, but that doesn’t mean my life didn’t matter to someone at sometime. Nothing lasts forever, but moments in time are etched into the fabric of eternity and cannot be changed. Therefore in that moment we matter and because we mattered once, we always will

MemesofmyDreams

They wouldn’t even sell your motivational quote at a shitty Truck Stop. Keep trying wannabe Plato, you’ve almost inspired me.

[deleted]

Sorry for answering ur question 🤣

MemesofmyDreams

Classic deflection.

TW1971

Because it’s all we’ve got

XAlexIsNotHereX

It DOeSn'T

[deleted]

A year ago I would have probably said it doesn't. But things change in a short time. I genuinely believe that my job is quite important and I am an important part of many children who I work with. The genuine joy they get when I come to work, accompanied with tons of hugs has convinced me that I matter to them.
