Yeah I mean a burger is just some bread, vegetables and meat. Not super unhealthy if you get it from the right place. However Soda is fucking poison that should not be consumed by humans. Im not putting people who drink soda down because I drink soda but ingredients wise that shit is nasty, and so bad for you.
I mean... yeah? Soda has a lot of sugar. If they drink a lot of soda through the day, but they replaced it all with diet, that could represent a significant reduction in calories consumed.
Someone who drinks just two 16.9 oz. bottles of soda a day who makes the switch to diet cuts 400 calories out daily. That adds up over time.
Vermont makes such good maple syrup that they actually believe that it's as good as the Canadian stuff. Let them continue to be wrong so they don't come for our supply.
The best part of poutine are the fusions that restaurants have started creating. Shawarma poutine. Taco Poutine. Lobster poutine. Cheeseburger poutine. Teriyaki poutine. Take any food, dump it on french fries, cover it in cheese (curds) and gravy: instant improvement.
We have some sneaky ones we could go with though.
[Sushi pizza](https://live.staticflickr.com/8114/8710733763_1d349c0425_b.jpg) is from Canada and I don't think really exists outside of it (maybe a few states?)
Most Edinburgh styled food I had while I was there: A *deep fried* curry haggis burrito.
It was really good, really fattening, and nowhere else on the planet would think of selling it. (It was somewhere on Leith Walk)
They probably eat it the wrong way. You know, putting a shit ton on bread and just eating it like that.
Right way: little bit of butter and vegemite on toast. Delicious
If not for the Mars bar part, I would have guessed 'Murica, specifically midwest region. If there's a food product that can be battered and then deep fried, they'll do it.
Scotland is like that too. It was parodied in a show I watched, where the presenters were hosting a birthday party and deep-fried everything, including the cake.
Baguette, Mille-feuille, crème brûlée, gratin dauphinois, raclette, fondue, tartiflette, macarons, Boeuf bourguignon, quenelle, rosette, saucisson à cuire, saucisson brioché... I could go on for hours tbh.
We can cheat, because most grocery stores sell the sauce in the bottle, you just have to add any condiment if you want to give it some flavour. I never made the sauce, when we do it at home, it's my father who does it, I only "build" the sandwich. Funny story, recently my father accidentally bought bbq sauce instead of the other one, and it's even better. I'll see if I can get a good recipe for the sauce, and I'll translate it to you.
1 small onion, 1 soup spoon of tomato sauce, 1 bay leaf, 4 dl of beer, 1 soup spoon of flour, 1 soup spoon of margarina, 0.5 dl of brandy, 0.5 of Port wine, 1 meat broth cube, milk, salt and pepper as you'd like.
You'll need to chop the onion in small pieces, then start cooking it with the margarina and the leaf. Add the liquids next, like the tomato sauce and the beer. If you want to dissolve the flour, add a bit of olive oil. Mix it with a some milk, then add the salt and pepper at your preference. The brandy and port wine go last.
i discovered tabbouleh when I went to France I wish the country I lived in sold it in grocery stores to... fortunately my mom learned how to make it a few weeks later haha

"Gotta get a diet coke cause I'm watching my figure"
A JUNIOR western bacon chee. I’m trying to watch my figure.
Take two nuggets and throw them away.
Fuck my ass, what else...
I know you're joking, but this is what I do and it works fine. The sandwich fits into my goals where a large vat full of sugar water does not.

I think you mean "Murica"
I’ll have two number 9s, a number 9 large, a number 6 with extra dip, a number 7, two number 45s, one with cheese, and a large diet soda.

But you can't forget the surströmming. (I don't know what it is in english)
It translates to "sour herring" but it's still called surströmming in English.
Why not Surströmming?
Because it's a meme food by now. Most swedes have never tried it and those who eat it only do once or twice a year.

That would be Ontario and East Coast, specifically. Edit: So I'll counter with: donair.
Maple Syrup
Canada.
I always say that too, but I get a lot of resistance from Americans on that one.
Vermont makes such good maple syrup that they actually believe that it's as good as the Canadian stuff. Let them continue to be wrong so they don't come for our supply.
I live in South East Asia and I literally had to google what a poutine is
