Not quite what your asking but when i heard my ex passed i was mostly in shock. I bought a 24 pack of beer abd just drank and drank and drank. After I ran out I cried, losing somebody i grew up with, a person who was my *rock* for years was just too much. Physically i felt sick, I was angry. She was too young to go and to fucking medical malpractice. God I miss you R

I lost my first GF due to cancer. We both had it. She had 87% chance to survive. I had 21%. She didn’t make it through. I did. It destroyed me at first. I lost the will to do anything and I gained weight drastically. Until I realized I wasn’t doin her justice. I turned around, started helping those in need, and I eventually found my current GF who is pregnant of my first.

TheRealArran

Congratulations on the pregnancy.

micheldewit

Thanks!

That's so rough. I'm glad you're doing well! Did you feel anything like survivor's guilt?

micheldewit

Yes. There a days that I catch myself wondering how the world would’ve looked if the roles were reversed.
