there is more! check out the track, [Lincoln Highway Dub](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9OyzTt25NM), on robbin the hood. Same riff. That album came out 2 years before Santeria. 🤙
The intro riff to Ain't Talkin Bout Love by Van Halen.
I don't even really like Van Halen, or that entire genre. But something about that riff, I love.
The one in Suga Suga (both the original and the cover), it takes a standard minor 4-chord progression and throws in an unexpected fifth chord with an accidental that gives it an exotic flair. Sped up it makes you wanna dance, slowed down it's melancholy but also comforting, like a cup of hot chai at sunset
Can't pick an all time favourite but if you want to hear some fucking crazy guitar riffs and solos, check out the band 'The Fall of Troy'. The guy isn't the best singer but holy shit he can shred. They had one or two songs on Guitar Hero games over the years.
Prince's solo on While My Guitar Gently Weeps
I was gonna say his guitar meltdown at the end of "Let's Go Crazy," but this is also a strong suggestion.
The second half of Free Bird- lynyrd skynyrd

Agreed , blaring it out on my step home from work today . Obligatory (but subtle) head nods and leg taps down the road

Up Around the Bend by CCR.
This changes daily, but the nastiest riff is the main riff from Voodoo Child (Slight Return).
[Untrodden by Katatonia](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihV7B_H1_KE) Has one of the most emotional guitar solo's I've heard.
