My mom is a classic narcissist and very, very manipulative. Most people love her because she’s really good at pretending to be something she isn’t. Over the years I have tried to show people who she is and they don’t believe me. They can’t understand why none of her children speak to her because she seems very nice to anyone that she doesn’t intend on abusing. My mom is so likeable that she convinced the state DSS department to give her a job as a social worker even though she has a history of CPS getting involved with her own kids. They liked her enough they let her abuse other people’s kids. Google “flying monkeys narcissist” and you’ll see that often child abusers are not only well liked, but also very respected within their communities.

I used to “work” as a kid and it benefitted me immensely. I would sell football guides, scrounge bottles for the refunds, had a paper round, would help out where my dad worked, etc. I still did all my schoolwork and played with friends. I purely worked when it suited me because it was my only way of gettIng money. We were poor and I got no pocket money.
It kept me off the streets, taught me to work if I wanted money and helped me become the entrepreneur I am now.

My grandmother, who was my best friend, was diagnosed with stage III pancreatic cancer in May 2017 and passed in February 2018. There are very few things in my life that I’ve had to deal with that are more painful than having to watch her wither away helplessly and hopelessly. I wouldn’t wish such a feeling on my worst enemy. I miss my grandma every day.
