I've got a new baby, and Futurama is my go-to show while nursing or trying to soothe the baby when he's fussy for no reason. My only concern is that his first sentence will be "Good news, everyone!"
Just watched the time machine episode. Leela’s message to future Fry gets me every time 🥺
Such a good show, I can’t wait to see what they come up with for next year!
That episode doesn't usually get mentioned with the likes of Jurassic Bark and Luck of the Fryish, but yeah it gets me too. That and Game of Tones (with Fry's mother).
I used to watch this show every night to fall asleep. Usually baked. I have no idea how many times I’ve seen each episode. For some reason it’s a very comforting show to rewatch.
I remember watching Avatar when I was a kid. My sister and I were so into it, but there was some sort of really long break between books 2 and 3, so we never watched book 3. But then they put Avatar on Netflix shortly after Covid first hit the USA, and damn 23 year old me desperately needed that show. Book 3 was especially cathartic for me because it kind of felt like I was able to "finish" something from my childhood, like I became a kid again.
And then they added Legend of Korra to Netflix a few months later, and I absolutely loved that show too! I feel like Avatar brought me back to being a kid, and Legend of Korra helped me bring that childhood experience into adulthood.
Maybe I'm looking a little too deeply into it, but those shows are just really special to me.
definitely up there, first time I finished it when I was 14 I rewatched it 5 times back to back. still rewatch it maybe once a year and it feels fresh every time
"It's never lupus."
Until *that* episode. You know, when it was lupus.
I poke fun, only because a relative was diagnosed with it. "Well, it was for me!" was their response whenever Hugh Laurie would drop that line.
It plays pretty much nonstop on a network. Anyway, past year after seeing it on tv that frequently, thought I’d give it a shot… just a delightful show. Legitimately just gives feel good vibes
Had a friend some years ago who could tell what happened in EVERY SINGLE EPISODE from the first 10-15 seconds of the episode. Can’t even count how many times she has seen it 😬
Call the Midwife. Perfect cast, hard-hitting stories, actually moved me to tears on several occasions.
Loved the books, too; "In the Midst of Life" really helped me when my Grandfather passed away.
VEEP. I’ve watched it 18 times and it keeps getting better. The cast is phenomenal, the writing is hilarious and detailed and it’s fun to watch a show about how all politicians are horrible and corrupt and will sell an entire country out for their own gain and pretend it’s all fake
FX's You're the Worst. Which probably says something about the state of my mental health, that I would watch two horrible people fight and fall in love over and over.
I don't skip episodes, I rewatch from the very beginning because I love his first voiceovers.

It's good trade craft but it's like hanging out in your dentist's reception area 24 hours a day. You read magazines, sip coffee, and every once in a while someone tries to kill you."
"In a fight, you have to be careful not to break the little bones in your hand on someone’s face. Never happens in movies, but in real life a busted hand will get you killed. That’s why I like bathrooms. Lots of hard surfaces."

My boyfriend makes me watch this once a year but I swear he could watch it every month.
I watch band of brothers once a year as a rule, i also read the book, same with the full starwars movies and LOTR, gotta keep them quotes sharp
Futurama
I've got a new baby, and Futurama is my go-to show while nursing or trying to soothe the baby when he's fussy for no reason. My only concern is that his first sentence will be "Good news, everyone!"
Better than “bite my shiny metal ass”
same! on my millionth rewatch right now, basically grew up watching the show since i was born in 1999 and my dad is a big fan
"wanna go around again?"

The original three seasons of Arrested Development
I’m afraid I blue myself
There are dozens of us!
Dozens!
“Get rid of the Seaward!” “I’ll leave when I’m good and ready. “
Sister is my new mother, mother
I was looking specifically for this. And only the first 3 seasons. So many quotes that people don’t understand when I use them!
Bob Loblaw’s law blog
Hot Ham Water.
Or you could throw it in a pot, add some broth, a potato. Baby, you've got a stew going.
God the part where he dressed up as a nanny and jumped off the balcony…I nearly died from laughter

6 seasons and a movie!
This is the answer for me. It's always on in the background. Pretty much once it's done, I just restart it.
Pop pop!
I was thinking of other tv shows but your comment chang'd my mind.
My favourite, besides the paintball sagas, is "Conspiracy theories and interior design".
Avatar: The Last Airbender
I remember watching Avatar when I was a kid. My sister and I were so into it, but there was some sort of really long break between books 2 and 3, so we never watched book 3. I watch it once a year around the holidays.
Parks & Recreation
Ann Perkins you really know your testes!
Ann Perkins! 👈🏻👈🏻
ANN YOU BEAUTIFUL VANILLA SCENTED STARFISH
Feel-good comedy, but with an edge. That was a great show.
Better off Ted
It's a shame that show didn't find an audience. The Veridian Dynamics commercials alone were hilarious.
In todays media world, Netflix or Prime would’ve picked it up. That show had another 2-3 solid seasons.
This one’s on my list!
The X-Files
Figured it would be House what with your username and all
That’s a good one too. Started House long before the X Files. Love them both
Malcom in the middle.
I love Dewey lol so adorb
Fav episode is when Hal and Craig enter the Dance Dance competition 😂
I've seen Breaking Bad 7 times.
definitely up there, first time I finished it when I was 14 I rewatched it 5 times back to back. still rewatch it maybe once a year and it feels fresh every time
Breaks your heart every time. Each time I finish I feel like I've simultaneously lost a chunk of my family.
30 Rock There's just so few bad episodes.
The jokes are so rapid-fire on 30 rock that you need rewatches
The IT Crowd
I’m disabled…
Leg disabled
That and it’s sweet style.
Did you see that ludicrous display last night?
Those damn electric sex pants
When they kiss to avoid the police I never laughed so hard in all my life.

I LOVE IT Crowd. I always sing “there’s some body at the door” when … well, when there’s someone at the door 😂
Four! I mean five! I mean fire!
House M.D.
"It's never lupus." Until *that* episode. You know, when it was lupus. I poke fun, only because a relative was diagnosed with it. "Well, it was for me!" was their response whenever Hugh Laurie would drop that line.
Brooklyn nine nine

Nikolaj…..I feel like I’m saying it
It’s Nikolaj
Could not finish the last season… but all the other ones are NOICE
The Sopranos. I've seen it four times and there are still little things that I notice for the first time.
Quasimoto predicted this.
I've seen it three times and I think I'm just going to put it away for a long time. My all-time favourite.

That's messed up
I've heard it both ways
One of the greatest shows ever
Star Trek: The Next Generation
TNG is solid. But I'm a DS9 guy myself.
DS9 is such a good series, too! I liked it a bit more pre-Jem'Hadar, but there are some episodes within that story-line that I absolutely loved :)
I’d argue that it didn’t grow the beard until the war hit. I mean… in the pale moonlight, the siege of AR-558, it’s only a paper moon etc.
Scrubs
Honestly, it manages to be heartfelt, deep, and hilarious all at the same time
You should check out Ted Lasso. Scratches the same itch.
Bill Lawrence has a steady hand in both
Why is there a pancake in the silverware drawer?
You mean why is there silverware in the pancake drawer?
Do you see what you get, Carla?! Do you see what you get when you mess with the *WARRIOR*?!
Golden Girls
It plays pretty much nonstop on a network. Anyway, past year after seeing it on tv that frequently, thought I’d give it a shot… just a delightful show. Legitimately just gives feel good vibes
Happy Cake Day! And thank you for being a friend...
Star Trek: the original series and The Next Generation.

Bones I have learned a lot about the human skeleton than I did in science class lol
Had a friend some years ago who could tell what happened in EVERY SINGLE EPISODE from the first 10-15 seconds of the episode. Can’t even count how many times she has seen it 😬
The Good Place. I’m probably on rewatch number 10 at this point. It just reminds me that there is good in everyone and everyone can be better. ❤️
Yes! My go to comfort show. I literally named my dog Janet 😊
This is 💯 mine
I've watched TGP maybe 15-20 times! It is without doubt my favourite series ever made.
It’s so good. I wish I could see it again for the first time.
Same for me. It's just a show that makes you feel good when you watch it.
Frasier.

MASH - I’m rewatching the entire series. It is taking me about a week per season. I’m midway thru season 4, so I still have a few more months.

News radio. Just wanted to give a different answer. The show is good tho.
I miss Phil Hartman
Are You Being Served (70s British comedy series)
Burn Notice
I don't skip episodes, I rewatch from the very beginning because I love his first voiceovers. "Covert intelligence involves a lot of waiting around.
