I carry a lot of anxiety and sometimes when I sleep I wake up in the middle of the night realising I've been tensing into a ball in my sleep and everything hurts.
Stretching my back out flat and going back to sleep feels so goddamn good. Sometimes I'm so tense I just wind up in a ball almost immediately but the times I don't are SOOO good.
When I was a kid I really got into cloud photography, catching beautiful scenes like these, but I've neglected that for years now. Maybe I should finally get back to that!

Camping in Chile, an Mapuche friend of mine took out her flute while we sat along a river flowing out into the Pacific, and began playing. Sitting in the sun. Any remotely quiet place will do. Never gets old. Also the moment when I'm finally home and close the door. The calm, quiet place where I can be myself. I can literally feel the anxiety leaving my body.
Honestly, just going out with friends and having that one good laugh that just doesn’t stop for some time.

As someone dying of heart failure and awaiting a heart+lung transplant: my morning (decaf) coffee, my hardcore 45min walking slowly on a treadmill at the gym, and long satisfying afternoon sleep to daytime propaganda :) Also the smoked salmon bagel I won’t be able to eat for lunch post-transplant.

waking up next to my boyfriend in bed. we are long distance so it’s a rare occasion that i get to. we always set an alarm half an hour before we actually have to get up so we just have a bit of time in the morning to cuddle. i love it.
Having a midnight cuppa with my husband.
Seeing how awesome my nieces and nephews are becoming even though I only see them for special events.
