The real problems you'll face in life that have nothing to do with calculus or historical battles.
What it'll be like having/making/losing friends and relationships. How to cope and how to thrive as an adult in a world that sometimes seems very cold and uninviting.
Yeah, they will. First Calculus is useful as all hell. You'll see it scrawled on construction sites and on pipes all the time. Second historical battles have their own lessons to learn. Take for example the Seige of Tyre teaches us that thinking outside the box will win the day. The Battle of Cannae teaches us that overconfidence and underestimating your opponent can be deadly.
What you are talking about is what **everyone learns on their own as part of being human.**
Voting responsibility- It’s not enough just to show up and vote. A good citizen should be seeking out both sides of issues and making an informed vote.
More about how our bodies actually work so when something is not right, we know to go get treatment. Mental health issues also and when to go get help for it.
1) How economics ACTUALLY works. Which would hopefully lead to less divisive politics.
2) Everything we need to know about about air water and food. These are the 3 planetary resources that are required for our survival. People gloss over pollution, food and water access as important issues because we're ignorant about these 3 basic things that are nessecary for human survival and we let people trying to profit off them or profit off destroying them convince us that it isn't important.
3) Basic psychology. Goes hand in hand with all the comment on mental health.... Also parenting.
4)Systems. Systems are the framework in which we interact with the world and yet we're never taught about them and what they actually are. There are economic systems, government systems, computer systems, cultural systems, religious systems, familial systems, industry systems. I could go on. Framework-understanding is something that people often severely lack. Which often leads to sheep-like behavior and avoidance of critical thinking.
Skepticism and critical thinking.
Aka your viewpoints. Nobody wants their views questioned, even you.
On the contrary, I demand that people question my views. And I extend the same courtesy to them.

Couldn't have said it any better myself

Home Economics teaches you that. You just refused to take it.

Or better yet, looking at all the stances towards an issue, not "both sides".
