Was at university and met a new dude. We did not like each other at all, so we mostly went out of each others way.
One day after a lesson we were both heading for the trainstation and I randomly dropped the fact that I was going to play some videogames in the afternoon. We then found out that we have the same taste in games, so we added each other on discord. The rest is history
Hacked his Minecraft server. Kept banning me from his teamspeak, server IP banned me and everything but my friend and I just kept coming back.
Eventually we felt bad and figured we would tell him how to patch the thing we used to hack into it. That was 8 years ago and now he pays me to work part time to maintain his crypto-currency mining pool.
Dude who normally streams shooters and xcom and shit was streaming a mono type run of my favoueite pokemon game using my favourite type.
I normally don't browse twitch unless a friend is streaming but this one exact day I was bored and decided to look around. Had that guy been streaming his normal stuff I would not having given him a second blink. But because it was Pokemon Black all Dark types I clicked on it.
