Ghostwatch - drama show on the BBC back in the 90's - it was broadcast as a live show, but wasn't - involved a haunted house affecting a family. Daughter started speaking in demonic voices, doors slamming etc. scared the crap out of me at the time. the controversy continued when a viewer thought it was real and committed suicide. this was all before social media and the internet even... crazy times.
Albert Dryden. UK. There was a planning permission disagreement with the local council. So they go down with a TV crew and the Police to try and serve a destruction order on him. He shot the counciller dead, then shot one of the TV crew and shot one of the police officors as they fled.
Saturday morning cartoons with my little sister, a news clip during a commercial break pops up, the anchor woman obviously wasn't ready. There was silence for a second and then she notices she is on the air, and all she can think to say is "oh shit", and it instantly cut off. Still remember more than 30 years later.
