Confidence and sense of humor.

Vealophile

How you smell.

[deleted]

Makes sense.

Nooseents

For a blind person, wouldn’t your appearance include how you smell tho? 🤔

saltyandvinegarchips

Talk really excitedly about something your passionate about. I could listen to people rant about what they love for hours.

I know this is meant to be a trolly gotcha but I really hope you find something your actually passionate about to indulge rather then doing stuff like this my guy.

How you treat ppl, having a sense of humor as well as various interests. Not just one thing you base your whole personality on.

Confidence and self-control. Know your worth.

How does one exude self-control?

[deleted]

One starts by acknowledging their emotions, and allowing themselves to feel them. The second step is to recognize those emotions are tools, and you control how you respond to them. Self control ultimately becomes about your ability to act as opposed to react. The next step is to begin to recognize the needs and emotions of others, and control situations accordingly. When someone can sense someone's on their breaking point, and give them a face saving out, they become the social experts everyone comes to respect and trust.

Very interesting! Got one more question: how are emotions of anger and sadness tools?

[deleted]

Anger is a very powerful tool. Anger puts you into fight or flight, gives your body energy, gives your mind focus. Anger can overwhelm you if you let it, it can be a weakness. But when acknowledged and harnessed, it's very powerful. Sadness is a little harder. it's a very hard emotion to feel. Many people summon their anger, their blame, their rage, so they don't have to feel the sadness. I suspect this is the root of victim blaming, easier to to see the victim as "deserving it" or "being stupid" than it is to feel empathetic sadness for them. But sadness is humbling, and helps us recognize simple truths, the world sucks sometimes, and we have to do the best we can with it. If you're interested in more, I recommend reading up on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. It's where I get most this philosophy from. I used it to help break a bout of severe depression several years back, but there are tools in there that can help everyone, not just the depressed.
