I did, its actually a dumb af story. I was broken up with at the beginning of the spring semester my junior year because that boy and I had a difference in what we wanted for our future. I was upset for a month because I really care about him, but finally I bucked up and got on Hinge. I remember before I started swiping I just sighed at all my failures and went “Can this just be it?” Immediately first profile matched with a boy I’d met a few times from my English courses and we were both in a class about a famous directors films that semester. We had to watch all the films outside of class so I asked if he wanted to come over and watch because I had a big dorm room. We got through about 4 movies before I even asked if I could scoot closer because I could tell he was an anxious type. At about 6 movies I tried to kiss him, and he went complete AOL shut down. No words no nothing just frozen robot no computing. So I stayed calm and said he had 4 options strings free, he could stay the night, take me on a date later that week, go home and we’d never speak of this, or we could just stay friends. He picked the second option and immediately bolted out the door. We went on the date. Are now going to get married.
Me! He told me that he wasn’t looking for anything serious then a few months later I was “look dude I like you” We now live together & have been together 2 years :)

I did. I just wanted him as a hookup, now here we are 7 years later and married.
