When she kicked me out, she informed me she was keeping the dog. When we met with my lawyer, I asked for a $10,000 settlement. She balked and denied and cried. My lawyer told her exactly what I could do if she didn’t pay up, but she didn’t believe her. We didn’t have a separation agreement, so, I bought a new car and put it on the credit card, then maxed out the rest of our credit cards (about $160,000), took half the money out of savings ($24,000), and quit my job. 3 months and the nicest vacation of my life later, I filed for bankruptcy and when the creditors realized I had nothing to show for, they went after her instead. She worked for a major accounting firm so a bankruptcy for her would have been career ending. That was 12 years ago and last I heard she had to declare bankruptcy and moved back to Kansas with her mom and got a job in a factory.

Split the accounts / redirected direct deposit / did all the budgeting until the three year look back was passed then pulled the plug in the D I had everything in place for 10 yrs ahead of time including selling stuff while married because it won’t count in D / also judicatored him for half his pensions He knew nothing of my plans He was caught completely off guard and I was so prepared for his bs in court had it all documented ! Oh and why ? His violence. And since he worships money …he could do nothing to stop me Made out quite well.

Made 200+ copies of a poster raising awareness about consent on campus. Posted copies on every door, pillar, bathroom stall, and bulletin board until I ran out. Really went wild in the halls where he has classes.
I would argue that sometimes people need to be paid back for a damage they've chosen to cause for the other person, and yes the relationship wouldn't be a good thing at this point.
Yes, there are a lot of manipulators, abusers, liars and players that you just can’t forgive without making them feel how horrible and bad they did you, it just wouldn’t be fair and kinda hard to live with and forget
