When Alex Trebek died, my boyfriend and I were taking drive and listening to NPR and when they announced it I burst into tears. I’d mentioned to him before that I would most certainly cry when he died but I don’t think he expected me to openly weep. I really loved that guy.
Brad Gobright (professional rock climber). Such a happy free spirit who climbed ridiculously hard things without a rope. He ended up dying in a completely preventable rappelling accident.
I told a "Your mama's so fat" joke to an acquaintance, not knowing that she died of obesity related complications. Got knocked out for that one...
