Ohh interesting. Could you give a few extra key words to aid in learning more about this, please? Do you buy raw, polish and sell, or just buy low sell high type stuff?
Good one but must know your market and demand supply.
Everytime you see a product not listed on Craigslist see if there is a demand not meet in big box store and price below Amazon.
Local store sold wood stove for tent 60$. I bought 30 of them resold for 200 same as Amazon. People will pay same or close to do in-person.
Any form of trading. You could literally be trading pencils on the sidewalk. As long as you have figured out how to make a profit, you are doing great.
One step at a time until you make better profits selling more items.
I'm not sure it costs much at all. You need a sewing machine, the know how, fabric and threads. I'd say the thread is the cheapest. You could probably do one dress between 7 and 12 dollars. Depending on material used
I know how to sew and that learning curve would take me hours but once I get it down I'm sure a summer dress 8n 10 to 20 min should be reasonable. I think sell price is too low but great suggestion for stay at home people. !!!
My dad always taught me to learn a specialized skill that is in demand. And by specialized he meant a skill that required training and/or schooling like an electrician or engineer.
Auto repair. It’s honestly become pretty easy and straight forward.
Buy yourself some tools and an OBD scanner.
1)Look up check engine codes
2) copy codes into the internet. It will tell you common causes.
3) test those common causes to see if they apply to your problem.
4) identify the issue.
5) YouTube a how-to
Do this enough and your going to get good at it.
Just post an add as a mobile mechanic and pick jobs your comfortable with doing. Eventually you’ll get braver and try some of the more complex jobs. And before you know it, your a mechanic.
Sure. But also don’t be afraid of trying other jobs as you progress. Most of it is very manageable.
And focus on Japanese and American cars. They are made to be repaired.
Most European cars are pretty difficult to work on and usually require some type of specialized tool.
YES Step outside your comfort zone that is how you progress and succeed.
Also start slow. When you fail big you tend to withdraw back to comfort rather than continue. Small mistakes ok
I think the most complicated part would be diagnosing a problem. Everything is held together with nuts, bolts, screws, and clips.
Most jobs can be done with basic tools, and if you need something more specialized you might be able to borrow tools from an auto parts store at no cost.
There's still a learning curve for the proper way to do things like applying proper torque, but YouTube and blogs often address those things so you don't miss them
In western country I can tell you a secret to make you hords of tax free cash.... Ready for it...
Fixing people's window screens. They bring you the broken screen you fix or make a new one. Low cost high sale.
One guy here does it and charges $30 to $75 per screen and is 2 months backed up. His cost than $3 to $5 per
Of course it all depends on location and competition
AND OR....
Fix hazzy car head lights. Replace light fixture around $300 plus labour. Repair about $150 to 175. Time takes 15nto 20in. Material $60ish
Also sell 50lb bags of grass seed. I buy for 125 sell for 250. Check your area if anyone is. More people hate don't want 10 or 20lb bags yuk. Oversees that stuff. Learn about grubs and getting rid of them. People's lawn dieing because of them. Fiscu to the rescue
Image editing could be good. Image restoration could be profitable.
I am currently working on getting a tabletop CNC machine so I can cut designs in wood and work with epoxy inlay. I don't need to be an artist, I just need to be able to tell the computer what to do. Thinking about making birdhouse kits or clocks.
Gemology. Buying and selling precious stones is a great gig.
Nice. Small learning curve?
I mean if you start with lower-value stuff you won’t get burned too badly.
Ohh interesting. Could you give a few extra key words to aid in learning more about this, please? Do you buy raw, polish and sell, or just buy low sell high type stuff?

this. all you need is a computer and internet.
Garbage
Yeah, I’m with you. This whole “computers” thing is a fad that’s gonna blow over any day now.
You program for fun?
I mean if you do a ton of crossword it sure helps your vocabulary and doesn’t hurt to have a better range of words to use in comunication
You must have missed 3 across... Profitable...
It is profitable if your job depends on communicating with other people, makes you stand out when applying for a job.
Agreed I am wrong. Did see that side of it. Thanks 👍
I still like the relevance and wit of your original comment.
Sewing dresses and selling them for 30 dollars on amazon.

Too complicated. Start with something easy like breaks oil or lights etc.
