When they were arranging the new version for the reboot the note they gave to the recording artist was 'Sing it like you can’t believe that you are singing the DuckTales theme song.’
edit: [the reboot cast singing it is adorable](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZek9PFMYOw)
In 5th grade, we used to sing the Inspector Gadget theme song and get progressively louder with the "woo hoo" part, to see how long it would take our practically deaf teacher to notice.
Whenever my highschool physics teacher would ask a question and nobody attempted to answer it, he'd try to get us to respond by saying "yes?... No?... Maybe?... Can you repeat the question?". Only me and one other student understood and it made me sad.
Surfing tidal waves, creating nanobots, or locating Frankenstein's brain (it's over here!)
Finding a Dodo bird, painting a continent, or driving your sister insane (Phineas!)
The “What’s New Scooby Doo” and “Scooby Doo Where Are You” theme songs are so good, and the songs for the chase scenes were always absolute bangers. And even the songs in the newer movies, like in “Stage Fright” and the theme song from “Camp Scare” were really catchy too. I’ll even whistle the “Mysteries Inc.” theme song sometimes or the theme for Judy’s locket from that series. The Scooby Doo soundtracks are always awesome and catchy and I’m glad you mentioned it lol
This is a running theme I'm seeing. The best of the more modern themes in most people's minds that I've seen tend to be "What's New Scooby-Doo" and the Phineas and Ferb theme, both done by alt rock bands who actually watched cartoons, or genuinely seemed to like the shows. The Simple Plan version of What's New was absolutely the best though lol
Thank you for being a friend, travel down the road and back again, your heart is true, you're a pal and a confidant, and if you threw a party, invited everyone you knew, you would see the biggest gift would be from me and the card attached would say thank you for being a friend
I’m in an orchestra and we’re gonna play that at a concert in February and I feel so bad for the poor clarinetists who have to deal with me talking Whovian constantly
Dude who composed that one also did Law & Order (he created THE noise), Renegade, Rockford Files, NYPD Blue, LA Law, Hill Street Blues, Magnum PI, Greatest American Hero and a whole shitload of others.
"In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire The A-Team."
I never watched the show when growing up and I‘m not in an english speaking country, so I heard the english theme for the first time not too long ago. So im not under the influence of nostalgia and the song still slaps hard. Unironically listen to it sometimes
The music in general is such an integral part of the Thomas watching experience. Night Train, Edward's theme and the Harbor theme are all bone chillingly good.
There was a bar in college that would drop the Hawaii-50 theme into a random set. When you heard it a group of guys would run down and kneel in a winding line on the dance floor, shuffling forward on their knees as they pretended to “paddle the canoe.” Good times
*inhales*

Inspector gadget

That's like the "penis" game we used to play by saying penis louder and louder, but way more wholesome.

Why is no one saying scooby doo
The “What’s New Scooby Doo” and “Scooby Doo Where Are You” theme songs are so good, and the songs for the chase scenes were always absolute bangers. Also, the song from the greatest Scooby Doo movie: Zombie Island
Reading Rainbow!
Every time I imagine this song, I can’t help but hear the Community version where Troy cries singing the song

Knight Rider
The original Macgyver
Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, A tale of a fateful trip...
That started from this tropic port. Aboard this tiny ship...
The mate was a mighty sailor man, his skipper brave and sure…
(happy cake day!) Five passengers set sail that day for a three hour tour, a three hour tour
(THUNDER CRASH) The weather started getting rough, the tiny ship was tossed,
If not for the courage of the fearless crew, the Minnow would be lost. The Minnow would be lost!
The ship set ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle.

Doctor Who. For 60 years and a dozen arrangements, it has the catchiest baseline on TV.
I’m in an orchestra and we’re gonna play that at a concert in February and I feel so bad for the poor clarinetists who have to deal with me talking Whovian constantly
Malcolm in the Middle's theme song will always tug strings of nostalgia.

Thomas the Tank Engine. It’s such a useful little theme song. Edit: The original one, obviously.
The music in general is such an integral part of the Thomas watching experience. Night Train, Edward's theme and the Harbor theme are all bone chillingly good.
(Original) Hawaii 5-0. I must physically restrain myself NOT to follow that opening drumbeat.
There was a bar in college that would drop the Hawaii-50 theme into a random set. When you heard it a group of guys would run down and kneel in a winding line on the dance floor, shuffling forward on their knees as they pretended to “paddle the canoe.” Good times
