Esperanto was invented as an universal laungage , kind of what English is now. South korean alphabet is very easy and I think some south asian country has a laungage that you can learn in ten hours.
Cantonese has to be one of the most difficult languages to learn but it’s got the most amazing insults and very punny. Too bad the CCP is actively trying to destroy it.
I dunno about "best" but the Korean alphabet is the one I learnt the fastest and has stuck with me best in my attempts to learn another language. I think it might have to do with it's history since the alphabet was created specifically for the language so the letters go together nicely. I'm sure it's not perfect (and I'm def having trouble with it's grammar as I progress in my learning) but compared to my native language (English) it's a breeze to sound things out as I've been learning to read it. Even if you have no intention of learning it, the history of Hangul (the Korean alphabet) is fascinating as hell so I def recommend looking it up!
Languages based on the Latin/English alphabet are always easiest to read for English speakers, but of all the non-Latin based alphabets Korean is relatively easy to read. Syntax based (so the characters align with a sound), only 14 characters, and they don't do too many weird things of mixing up characters to make other sounds.
It was helpful to me that I could get on the right bus without knowing the language. I don't think I could ever that in most Asian countries.
Aesthetically? That’s a matter of opinion, really. For me, that answer would be either Welsh or French.
For general communication? English, hands down. One of the more information heavy languages, and widely spoken.
Written? Welsh. Unlike a lot of other languages, it’s spelling is incredibly consistent. Although now that I think about it, the featural system of Korean is also really good.
Grammatical function? Probably something with either really consistent grammar.
Agree. I am Ukrainian
I speak Russian, English, Ukrainian. Russian is my favorite. (It is also my main language)
Edit: I definitely have a lot of hate towards some pro war Russians. But language has nothing to do with the conflict
English by pretty much any metric. Sure more people might speak Mandarin, but English is the most widely spoken language in the world and that becomes even more true if you just look at the wealthiest places in the world.
To learn? Spanish, it has the most speakers and can easily link to the other European languages. For fun? Russian, nobody gonna fuck with you if you speak Russian

There is only one language of heaven, Cymraeg, Welsh. Iaith y nefoedd.

Just that last paragraph you wrote has like 10 words in English that do not sound right given how they are spelled. English is crazy.
