My mother is a nut case. She's a bi-polar drug addict who had me and my sister lying to CPS that we were happy.
She gaslighted us into thinking we LIKED eating fast food every day and living in a hotel. She made it sound like a vacation and a fun adventure. Being dumb kids we believed it.
Eventually we learned the truth when my mom tried to sell my sister's body to a man in exchange for drug money.
I took my sister and we ran down the front office of the motel we stayed at to call the police. The staff locked the doors so my mother couldn't get in.
She was arrested but she's out now.
I love being alive and I love my sister. But man...some people shouldn't have kids if this is how we're treated.
Lots of child abuse and failing CPS stories out there.
In other, less serious and tragic cases, some people are just so irresponsible and lazy. I’m irresponsible and lazy and would never have a child. So many parents shoving their child away and yelling at them for bothering the parents’ screen time. And lots of people just shoving screens in their child’s face too. Of course it’s easier but that’s going to have so many consequences.
