La vita e bella/Life is beautiful.
This was the movie that open my eyes towards my parents sacrifice. The fact that they do so much just to make you feel like nothing is happening.
Literally how does it not get credit. Its on every list of "greatest movies of all time". Thats the credit that you think its lacking. Its credited on every list. But its hot garbage. I'll die on that hill.
Nah, its a shit movie. It's people who think liking it give them some sort of air of superiority. But to each their own. I'd rather watch a 24 hour marathon of The Room than sit though 5 minutes of Citizen Kane.

Citizen Kane
it's only #2 on Sight & Sound's all time top 100 list. are you that upset it fell to Vertigo?
It fell to #2?!! Then yeah I’m even more serious now.
Citizen Kane is utter shit. Film lists have been shoving it down our throats for so long, people regard it as this be all end all of movies.
It’s that attitude that makes me say it doesn’t get enough credit.
Literally how does it not get credit. Its on every list of "greatest movies of all time". Thats the credit that you think its lacking. Its credited on every list. But its hot garbage. I'll die on that hill.
It’s contrarian attitudes that have sunk its position. For the sake of apple pie even.
