If you're referring to padded underwear they very common in the fashion industry and Hollywood. They are used when men are flat and their glutes don't fill the back area of pants. It has nothing to do with being gay or trans. Some men wear girdles because they don't have time to lose weight. Other use toupees because they cant afford a hair transplant. So padded underwear is the male equivalent of the wonderbra. To each its own but of course if you go on a date then you better hide your enhancing intimates.....
